Ah, the good old Kolkar deathball. If you kill the packmaster but leave the dog alive (run until it resets), the dog will continue patrol waypoints until it detects a kolkar packmaster nearby, and it will then join that packmaster, regardless of how many dogs it already has following. Might not be exactly how it works, but close enough.

I don't think Summit understands that the dude was dying either way. Soda was easy on Sequisha in two ways - 1. He should have just been g kicked (this is the rule agreed on when planning the guild), 2. He let his character get deleted with content (he could have just made him delete button his character). The fact that the level 60 executed him is irrelevant.

A lot of times mistakes compound on themselves. Like the war/priest pull. The warrior made a horrible pull but it was manageable. And then the priest didn’t prioritize healing.

As warlock, he could have easily have the pet to aggro all hyenas and then start running and let the pet die. Plenty of time to break the leash. I think if Soda wanted brand new players to join hc guild he should have given them some briefing on how leashing works and some basic escape patterns for each class. Because this way they will just keep dying like flies and eventually get frustrated and I believe many will quit or move onto normal anniversary classic pvp server.

Daze is one major factor why you should not show your back to mobs, but with higher defense the chance to be dazed decreases. you level your defense, when you get hit. this is something to consider, if you never get hit and not leveling defense. as a tank, you can get daze immune with leveling defense and defense on equipment. The second major problem is why most people die: you can't block, parry or dodge with your back to a mob. while mobs can dodge when you hit them from behind, if mobs attack you from behind, the table for your possible defensive actions looks pretty empty. this is a contributing factor, why people don't believe, that some situations are still managable. when they die getting hit from behind, then they think they couldn't have even tried. more often then not, with well use of cds and consums, you can manage 2on1s in quite dire situations while running away showing your back is guaranted death.

The poke and tactics death was pure panic. They made multiple mistakes before even engaging the mobs. They should have stood at the corner of the building where they left a caster free casting on them from 30 yards away. Grouped all the melee up on top of the caster, got a thunderclap and demo shout out, and interupt Jailors Enslave while cleaving. It was completely survivable if they didn't panic for the first 10-15 seconds, deciding what to. The heals should have happened immediately, followed by a fade.

Dude wtf is with all the warrior players not understanding survival basics or how the class functions. 1. Make a 1h + shield macro that you immediately press when you pull too many melees 2. Always go defensive stance when running with your back turned 3. Learn how to jump turn to minimize daze 4. Never run in a straight line, melee leeway does not work the same diagonally 5. ALWAYS hamstring if able 3. Keep up on your food buffs at all times and carry health pots/speed pots 7. Learn to LoS + gain distance with hamstring to get a few ticks of bandage if you know you can't escape

Seeing those clips of people dying in classic hardcore makes me understand why those people dont like retail, they die for shit they could easily avoid with their characters abilities, like the warrior with 2 raptors running and hitting him why the fuck he didnt used Hamstring to kite? The duo (priest and warrior) pulled 4 mobs and the priest cast just ONE fucking Lesser Heal on his tank, he could AoE fear the entire pack but the caster, and fully healed the tank in no time.

I was about to pick an herb, but the herb was bugged(which i've never seen before either). I tried to pick it and it just never gave me a response. I try again. same no response. The second I watched him pull 2 to 3 mobs while using a staff instead of 1h + shield on the shaman and not having any food buffs/pots, I knew he would be dead before even getting to wailing caverns. Shamans are not ret paladins and tend to win fights through attrition, leveling as resto is actually way safer and more consistent because you get +3% hit, uninterruptible heals, bigger mana pool and cheaper totems. Easily the best damage output of all the healers and makes group content smooth af

the arena chest should really only be gone after by tanks, and they should try and be cordial and non combative, the trinket is amazing for tanking early on and even into later leveling, the issue is it takes 12times of getting the chest and people hate being patient, personally i think people that gank at the chest are assholes who dont understand the game and those who do are griefers, similarly all these tanks losing aggro is shameful behavior, in my heyday of tanking(vanilla through wrath) i never once allowed anyone to take threat from me and i didnt have those fancy threat meters
