Depending on each ESC's BEC voltage and the power limits on your receiver, you may fry it. 😛

Surpass has been my go to for years, very good quality and performance. The Rocket cans use better grade aluminum but very similar

You don't need a strong ESC for that small motor. Will work with receiver's current just fine.

This brings back memories of the Tyco Fastraxx i had as a kid. It was made when the Bandit truck, Typhoon hovercraft, and the buggy Tyco made were all popular. I had them all at one time or another but had several Fastraxx because it would go thru grass and offroad better than all the others that were just 2wd or the hovercraft that was smooth flat surfaces only pretty much.

Imagine how mad it would be if it was all aluminum, the body & everything so it could handle super crazy power. Heck, why not get it upsized to 1/5 scale... Having a 1/5 scale 12S Ripsaw would be EPIC.! And also, y'know.. Ruinously expensive.! 😉 😉 😂 😂

issue here is mainly the cheap transmitter. If you have a expensive one you can program smooth start. Ripping off gears is mainly an issue when standing start ( where max torque happens) or if its blocked. But if you can program a smooth start spin of the motor, that wear out will be much reduced. Thats the downside of cheap TX.
