It's literally the opposite. The first 40 or so deaths in the round are PURE 100% RNG, luck, whatever items you get first determines whether you'll die in 20 seconds or not. 3 men kinda balance that out. Solo is a shitshow, and the game is garbage in general, full of hackers, shitty gun mechanics that require the opposite of skill to use properly...I don't even know how to call it, you have to bad at actual good FPS games with proper gun mechanics to be good at Apex.

I think Solo is a good way to practice 1v1 skills and you can amp it up rather easy by landing in hot areas for 1v multiple people or land across the map, loot everything and be fully equip to go into the final 20 people for real tough 1v1s. Its just nice not having the game decided by your teammates, weather they quit on you or don't revive you. Now you are responsible for your life, also helps with knowing when to run from a fight, something hard to do in random 3v3s without leaving your team to die.

im genuinely impressed by this game, very well played. i really hope to see solo's become a permanent game type we can play, trios is fun in all but with randoms coming and going in an out of the game its hard to play against 3 players without a person, ergo if a random drops away from you, "chooses" to play by themselves in trios anyways, completely defeats the purpose of that game type.
