Nasser El Sonbaty, the renowned IFBB professional bodybuilder, passed away on March 20, 2013, at the age of 47. His death was attributed to complications arising from health issues, specifically kidney failure. El Sonbaty had long been dealing with a variety of health challenges, including heart problems and the strain that years of extreme bodybuilding may have put on his body. There were speculations within the bodybuilding community about the potential role that the use of performance-enhancing substances, like anabolic steroids, may have had on his health, although the official cause was linked to kidney failure. Nasser was highly respected for his massive physique and had a notable career in the 1990s and early 2000s, competing in numerous Mr. Olympia contests and placing second in 1997. His death raised concerns about the risks associated with extreme bodybuilding and its long-term effects on athletes.
@enrater123Ай бұрын
This is what I hate about these "reports", they claim it was "extreme bodybuilding" that did this to him, and that are "speculations of the potential role of substances in his health" instead of saying the truth, that is, that the substance abuse is what got him killed, so now you have a bunch of newbies who think bodybuilding is bad for you and a growing amount of idiots who hop on drugs

yeah. You know what can cause kidney failure? Abusing drugs.... If anything "kidney-failure" is saying "yes it was PEDs" than saying "no it wasnt PEDs" but ofc noone knows anything for sure. We have to make an educated guess and i think we are all thinking the same here... dying of PED-abuse will either be "kidney-failure", "multiple organ failure" or a good old "heart-attack"; thats about 95% of diagnoses you will get from ppl who die from steroid-abuse
