I don’t even like dating women with kids but I said I would date if they have one not be with. I had a step dad, it sucked an my mom jumped into that relationship when she could’ve worked it out with my dad, it was her fault not his. Was a time when step fathers were respected, and the women they took in understood the extra burden and responsibilities that came with it so they acted accordingly by making life as easy as possible for him when dealing with the kids. Nowadays single mothers act like it's some kind of privilege to take on the responsibility of their kids. I see videos like that one step father who paid for his step daughter's wedding and they treated him like an ATM. Even had the biological father there and both the mother and the daughter wanted him to walk her down the aisle. They didn't even care to have food there that the step father eat and he was the one paying for the catering service! Straight insanity. Been there, done that ! Most women don’t want you to have any say in the child’s upbringing. And if the child/children haven’t been taught respect or home training, it’s really hard. As a man, you, soon feel like the woman is just looking for a provider/protector for her and her offspring. And, if the kids father is involved in their lives it can really become challenging depending upon the situation. And if you do get attached to the kids and end the relationship that is emotionally stressful for all parties involved. Save yourself time, money and energy and find a woman with no kids. You will be happier in the long run.

You might just have to unalive the father and risk your freedom to stay in the relationship. If the mother tells you that you can't discipline her child, what are you gonna do? The child is eventually gonna say, "YOU'RE NOT MY FATHER!" What happens when the mother shrugs her shoulders and says, "What do you want me to say? You're not the father"? You can't stay in the relationship or marriage. But if you leave, you'll be paying alimony and child support (some states have laws where you have to pay child support if it can proven that you were a father figure in the kid's life, even though you didn't marry the mother). There's no reason to sign up for all that and lose your peace. Dating and marrying a single mother isn't worth the baggage she brings with her.

When you marry, although a woman may not be required to pay their husband's child support. If the man owes back child support and she makes the mistake of filing taxes jointly. You won't get that tax refund. Then, depending on his income, it can be a financial strain, paying child support along with taking care of his new family. So if that wife works, she will be expected to contribute financially in other ways to the household to offset expenses. So I implore any single childless woman just starting their journey to marriage. Avoid the man with the financial baggage worsened by having baby mommas. Most times, the guy is still sleeping with the BM, and the kids are rude and ungrateful. plus, it's hard disciplining another person child. Then you got to put up with, "i dont have to listen to you. You not my momma. " yes, that scenario is a hard pass. Granted, every scenario is different, and there are success stories of blended families. But I say to men and especially women avoid it at all costs because those good ones are the exception and not the rule.

It depends on the TYPE of WOMAN you're dealing with if your interest is with the child's mom she's the one who your committed to not the child. However, going into the relationship a REAL man is going to understand if she has a child it's a package deal but on the flip side if she doesn't make that child respect you and your showing her that you can give the child something to respect then she's probably not the one for you.

I'm a 52 year old man. I remember in 1994 a great friend of mine told me he met a beautiful young i said. That's great. He said there's one problem. I said what he said she's got kids, I said how Many he said two I said oh man that's a problem. It's a sensitive topic because no one wants to be little children. Children are beautiful. However the issue is in this climate this day and age your expenses Any motions that are all wrapped up in this thing and if it doesn't work out. The man is left without anything. He doesn't have lights to those kids yet. He has spent his time his love is financial resources or that kid or kids? Women have to take this into account when they decide to have children with the man. Nothing is guaranteed. However, you must choose wit's late.
