I Don't Have Enough Time To Read All The Books On My May TBR 📚 2023

There's an acronym in the knitting/crochet world to describe ridiculously large yarn collections: STABLE (which stands for 'Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy' - ie: I now have more yarn in my stash than I can physically knit in my remaining lifetime) I often feel like this with my ongoing TBR and the unread books in my Kindle library. So I 100% hear you on the ambitious TBR!

Ohhhhh... Iron Gold was a really gooooood read for me last month! I was so happy to jump back into that world again after a few years. I felt Brown got a bit darker with this story.... and I love it! So much violence!😀

I too am a mood reader. I absolutely ADORE the Discovery of Witches series. I do hope that you will enjoy it. Book 2 is the big historical part of the trilogy. But books 1 and 3 are both set in the present (mostly).

I am the worst at reading on flights. The Husband used to live on the other side of the world from me (SA), so I have been on a lot of 12+ hr flights. Always had the most ambitious reading plans, always just ended up watching movies...

I absolutely loved the discovery of witches series. What I would say the first book starts off very slow. It took about half way through to where the story picked up and I truly fell in love with the book and the series and then read the other two books within a week lol. Hopefully you like it but it might take a while for the first book to pick up for you.

gwen and art are not in love was real fun - a la early 2000s romcom, but like may it gay and sapphic. the ending was a bit weird compared to the beginning but that was just tonal shift - didn't ruin the fun of it

I have it. It’s decent but not the most complex game. I prefer Everdell which has a similar end goal but is much more fun with more variables or if you’re looking for strictly cards - Legendary

The Demon King has been on my TBR forever. I pre-ordered Gwen and Art are not in love on Book Depository before they closed. Now I have no idea when I’ll get a paperback copy in the USA.
