Its amazing how these 100s have an urge to attack with their Queen as soon as physically possible and completely forget about her 1 turn later

Because at 100, players tend to not see all of the angles the opposing queen has, so it's very easy to blunder a lot of pieces that way. Getting your queen out will sometimes let you just scoop up a knight and rook for free because the knight pawn was left undefended

Honestly, I don't think it's a clear cut. Challenges where the opponent doesn't have to abide by any rule tend to be very easy (as this one was, despite Simp saying he thought it wasn't doable), and challenges where he does sometimes are just unnecessarily hard. There are just good rules and stupid rules in both sides.

"I didn't even think this challenge was doable". It sounded easier than most of them to me. In this one you weren't constrained to force the opponent do not do certain things. That's MUCH harder, when you're required to do things like make sure they don't move to the g file, or make sure they never move their bishop more than 2 spaces or something.

Quest name: "Choose your side" 100 rated chess. But your first color complex (dark or light) determines your entire army's stand. Meaning if your first piece or pawn lands on a dark square, all other piece have to land on dark square for the rest of the game.

Try this: any previous 100 rated Chess challenge, but you are a coward unless you inform your opponent of your restrictions. Twice: (1) before the game starts; (2) the first time the restrictions force an obvious bad move or prevent an obvious best move, preceded by "See? I lose if [...insert violation of restriction here...]. If you break a rule: send message "Oops, that was against the rules! But at least I am not a coward" & resign. If your opponent violates a constraint, send message: "Well played. But at least I am not a coward." & resign. Who's the coward now?
