Majin is a type of monster in Japanese folklore. To get into it would take a massive list because there's different categories of them and different meanings for them. But in this situation the definition of Majin refers to a kind of catch all term for anything that isn't Human, think of Humans being a type of snobbish upper class that looks down on anything non-human as being severely less than them and with what is beginning to start will make sense to you. In this specific reference is talking about a clan of human-like beings that have monster attributes, and the unfortunate nature is that while they have human-like features, the more obvious the monster traits the more heavily discriminated they'll be. They're lower in the view of Humans than Orcs as Orcs don't look like Humans, but they do and can fool you into thinking they're Human if you're not careful "and then they'll do terrible things those monsters are evil after all." it's subtle but it's gradually introducing a social and caste system into the world and does it remarkably well. (elves and dwarves are considered the same but they have less noticeable features and are less discriminated against - still are but it's less than the obvious ones)

shes dead. She said she had been living decades and what do you think allowed her to live that long? It's Ifrit in her. And normal human, without the power of ifrit, cannot stay young like her. So now that the ifrit is gone, she aged immediately and died. You can see her white hair and thats when she aged immediately and died.

The marks of shizu’s face are scars from when she was burned alive when the bombs dropped in Japan.

Shizu was kept alive n youthful by a flame ifirt spirit. She was a kid in world war 2. So shes in her late 60’s early 80’s or more depending on how fast this timeline is. Taking away the thing keeping her alive killed her. There is more to it but those are spoilers. N the info i gave basically covered it.

Majin is a bit further from human than just a mage. More likely to be discriminated against. The literal translation is Demon Person. There isn't a way to nail down exactly what it means since it is used as a slur in the world. It used to describe a very diverse group of people/monsters in the world of slime. Some humans view them as closer to monsters than human. Shizu got white hair because she lost Ifirit when Rimuru absorbed it. Without the spirit providing her with youth, she reverted to being a human and her actual age. She was a kid during WW2, so maybe born in 1935, making her 70-80, depending on when the series starts. It is sad she is gone, but she did have a long life.
