Sometimes women are in their feelings and they DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S WRONG! I've been married 38 years when my wife gets like that--if she'll let me--I just hold her. Once the "storm" passes, there's not much to straighten out. I love you two!

My parents used to play this when I was a child. I used to think wow adult relationships must be complicated. I loved the story telling aspect of the song. Singer Kenny Lattimore is his son.

Hi guys, that is a deep song, I never heard it before. I like your take on the lyrics. So true. Communication is essential. And not assuming the other person knows how we feel, if we haven't expressed ourselves. I think sometimes sensitive people, especially women feel so much that it is hard for them to understand that some people just don't go that deep. They don't mean to be thoughtless, they are just clueless to what we are feeling. Best to try and get to the heart of a misunderstanding sooner than later..

A lot of women expect men to read their minds. They don’t tell the man what the problem is. How can he help if you don’t say something. He can’t understand what you’re going through if you’re not telling him what you’re going through. Don’t give him hints. Straight out tell him what the problem is.

I like Latimore’s “Let’s Straighten Out,” what you know about that!!! You tell your husband if he’s not feeling that, he’s crazy!!! You know I Love Y’all’s!!! And I’m just joking! You’re not crazy…just a little!!!
@wakejake4332 жыл бұрын
I disagree with that assessment. I’m a man and I feel what is meant to be felt to the core of my existence!! I’ll never experience what it’s like to carry a child because that’s not what males do but I’m a father and I did get the experience of spreading my seed to assist in his creation by the Union of myself with his mother. When I see my people suffering from the lack of all things proper bringing them to the door of destruction, it feels like my organs are being ripped out of my body, when I see the smile on a child’s face when mom or dad gets home and greets them with a hug and a kiss and a little bag with a surprise inside, I almost cry, when I come home after being gone for a length of time such as military duty, and see the Mrs. moving about in a flowing dress going about her daily routine before finally seeing me and say, “hey dear” and the kids come running and say “hey dad” while grabbing unto my body, joy is overwhelming!! Like the song says, I was born this way to experience the full range of my emotions and they all burn with raging flames.
