I have sons. They're rowdy and rude among each other, they break things and blow things up and burn things. But they also fix things that were broken, they till and dig when I want a pond or a garden, they turn trees into firewood and haul it to the house, stack it, and make the fires that keep us warm all winter. They carry the heavy groceries from the car, they mow the lawn, they do anything I ask them to. All I have to do is feed them and love them, and they are respectful and helpful in return. Sons and men, raised well and treated well, are a treasure. I don't know what I'd do without my guys.
