Captain Hydra would be pretty cool and most likely. Joseph Quinn and Anthony Mackie are the confirmed cast members for Doomsday and they are Human Torch and Captain America respectively. Plus it's a new character who has not featured in live action yet.

The comics are very different. In the comics, Thanos can come back so many times that he doesn't even get taken seriously in some stories. Instead, in the MCU, his death was a big deal, because It was the end of an actual threat. In the MCU the characters are meant to be taken way more seriously than in the comics.

As a Captain America fan for 13 years, I've always felt iffy about Steve's ending from what we were shown in Endgame. One of the key messages from Winter Soldier and Civil War was that Steve had basically adapted to the modern world since he was rescued from the ice, and even Peggy herself told him that she lived a great life, encouraging him to move on. The ending of Civil War and later Infinity War showed Steve freeing Bucky, going nomad, and becoming the leader of his vigilante team with Sam and Natasha, further proving how he had found his chosen family in the 21st century. Then the snap happened and he lost Bucky (again), Sam, and his Avengers friends - which he was determined to get back. He was also seen in a support group giving advices and encouragement to people who were affected by the snap. Throughout all of this, where did Peggy fit in his character development? Yes, she was Steve's first love, but she had been long gone by the time the events of Endgame took place. After bringing everyone back and winning the battle with Thanos, Steve decided that he should take Tony's advice and settle for a 'normal' life... but his choice was to go back in time to reunite with Peggy? For someone whose theme is accepting new changes and moving on, that seemed like a regressive and OOC choice for Steve. Let's not forget that Steve going back to the past meant he was leaving Bucky, Sam, Wanda etc. behind who were all struggling and needed guidance. And since we learned about the TVA in Loki, they would've prevented him from doing anything which could alter the sacred timeline, which implied that Steve had to sit back while inequality and injustice were taking place everywhere. Knowing his character, he wouldn't have been able to bear with that option. I'm all for Steve getting his happy ending, but Endgame's final scene didn't age very well when we took what we knew of the MCU's lore established in phase 4 into consideration. The writers probably didn't think that far ahead the consequences of Steve's actions, making his 'ending' feel rushed and contradictory. If Chris wanted to keep his return to Marvel a possibility, I wish the writers would have had Steve recruited by an organization which we could learn of their purpose in later Marvel projects, instead of literally letting him go back to his 'old' ways.

He risked it all to return the stones and went to corners of the universe he probably couldn't imagine. This is also why I don’t like the fact that they’re bringing back RDJ. Lots of people know him in the MCU as Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Imo, bringing him back into the MCU but as a new character not only lessens the impact of Tony Stark’s death scene in Endgame, but it’ll also make it confusing for some people. I think it’ll might be confusing for people because they’ll probably think that Tony Stark is evil now.
