*LYRICS - I Don't Want to Miss a Thing* ------------ I could stay awake just to hear you breathing Watch you smile while you are sleeping While you're far away and dreaming I could spend my life in this sweet surrender I could stay lost in this moment forever Where every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure I don't wanna close my eyes I don't wanna to fall asleep 'Cause I'd miss you, baby And I don't wanna miss a thing 'Cause even when I dream of you The sweetest dream would never do I'd still miss you, baby And I don't wanna miss a thing Lying close to you, feeling your heart beating And I wonder what you're dreaming Wonder if it's me you're seeing Then I kiss your eyes And thank God we're together 'Cause I just wanna stay with you in this moment forever Forever and ever I don't wanna close my eyes I don't wanna to fall asleep 'Cause I'd miss you, baby And I don't wanna miss a thing 'Cause even when I dream of you The sweetest dream will never do I'd still miss you, baby And I don't wanna miss a thing I don't wanna miss one smile I don't wanna miss one kiss Well, I just wanna be with you Right here with you, just like this I just wanna hold you close I feel your heart so close to mine And just stay here in this moment For all the rest of time, yeah, yeah I don't wanna close my eyes I don't wanna fall asleep 'Cause I'd miss you, baby And I don't wanna miss a thing 'Cause even when I dream of you The sweetest dream would never do I'd still miss you, baby And I don't wanna miss a thing 'Cause even when I dream of you The sweetest dream would never do I'd still miss you, baby And I don't wanna miss a thing Turn on captions (CC) to see the lyrics on screen Album: Hopefully a future album

Thanks for this beautiful love song/lullaby, guys. Emmett strikes again with his arrangement and Ellen sings it very convincingly (but that doesn't really surprise me). Everyone's in great form again, but I especially enjoyed Katie's sweet violin solo this time. And then the outro, what a lovely surprise! Michael & Macy making their video debut with The Petersens. Good idea to already bring Macy into contact with those strings, you can't start young enough.😂😉 She seems to have a strong preference for the guitar though, "What do we have here? “I Don't Want to Miss a Thing” is a song written by the American songwriter Diane Eve Warren and recorded, as a single, by the American hard rock band Aerosmith. Later included as a bonus track on their twelfth album “Nine Lives” in 1998. But the song is especially known as the main song in the soundtrack of the movie "Armageddon", directed by Michael Bay in 1998 and with an exceptional cast, including Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler (daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler), etc. “I Don't Want to Miss a Thing”, in the second half of 1998, reached number one in the charts, as well as in the United States, also in many European countries and in Australia, receiving many awards, including several Gold and Platinum records. Strangely, there aren't many covers of this song, perhaps a bluegrass cover, as well as being a great news, could achieve good notoriety! // [Ellen] Ok, abbiamo finito. What to say...one of the sweetest songs ever written, especially dear to the hearts of my generation, now played in the sweetest way possible and brought to new heights. I already wanted to say that I love you all, boys and girls, but then the easter egg came...and put the biggest smile on my face. My children are in their middle teens now, and I already fondly think about when they were so tender and innocent. And the way she touched the strings of both mandolin and guitar spells a lot about the fact that Music is powerful in this One :-). Love from Italy and God bless you all, especially the little angel.

Everybody, watch until the end! What a sweet moment in the outro. Also, what a beautiful and seemingly effortless performance of this classic tune. I was smiling the whole way through.

Did you see the band are playing in London a week today (13th August at Union Chapel in Islington)? There’s a ticket link in the description if you can make it 🎉 They won’t be jamming, but there’s a meet and greet with the band beforehand for anyone who’s part of the Patreon community - which is $3/month, cancel anytime www.patreon.com/thepetersens

Parole davvero commoventi. E alla fine quella splendida bambina. Da nonno non posso che commuovermi. Grazie ragazzi, siete straordinari come sempre.

R U kidding me? Using an adorable baby to promote another KZbin channel video?? Kidding!! My favorite posting ever for America's best family singing group. Your harmonies are getting so good I can't even separate them anymore!! Crazy good. Can't express enough my support for what you are doing and have done.
