Bro you can learn about driver's past if you read the book written by James Sallis. His father was a thief and he used to help dad's work by taking advantage of his small body. But once he started growing, he reached 188cm from nearly 120 so fast. He also learned how to drive by dad, and he realized that he was really good at driving. One day his mother went crazy, killed her husband with a knife. After she was arrested, driver was adopted into a family. About one month before his 16th birthday, he ran away from home with his money and stepparent's car. He went to LA and found Shannon in a bar, asking him to see his driving skill...

I never realized you also edited the American psycho edit as well. I rewatch these both almost everyday with how good they are. You are amazing at edits man I was late to watching this. But I watched this one night to distract myself from my break up and I am completely speechless at how much I related to how he feels. The timing couldn't be any coincidental either. And this isnt because I'm trying to fit into the "literally me" meme I'm also very quiet, people call me out for it even. I have the same love for driving, driving constantly day and nights. I also fell in love with a woman, who is a mother to a little boy. The kid even resembles her son completely. A genuine woman, someone who also actually loves me and wants me. I also was taking care of her and her son. I also had the same care for them both how driver has. Being around them was when I actually felt true happiness and joy on the inside. She also held my jacket once for hours when I only knew her as someone who I crushed on. (When Irene held driver's jacket the exact same way it just reminded me of her again) Everything was short lived, we could barely meet. But the last time I met her, I was driving and she held my hand for hours. I love her and her son more than anything in this world Though due to the reality of life and everything, I had to let her go a few weeks ago though she still loves me. Though I don't know about the future now maybe something will happen. But for now it is what it is. And when he said something along the lines of "Being around you and your son, has been the best thing that has ever happened to me" I paused the movie for a minute and just processed everything. It sent chills down my spine because I said the exact thing to her.
