Yeah, one thing I notice when I play in higher level lobbies is that the lower ranked player is just a little too far out of position or is a little too slow most of the time and yet they still try to go for the ball. It is pretty difficult to judge whether it would be better to go or be passive. When you feel slower than everyone else, it is TOUGH to play.

As an SSL I think Leth is holding back. You can tell how much he’s limited by not having a teammate that’s good enough. I think this shows you shouldn’t play with a rank disparity

It’s funny because high champ 3 to low GC1 in twos is still around the top 1.8% of the entire world which is insane knowing how many rocket league players there are, but yet they are still bad compared to ssl

@@jeffpraterJSF Yeah I'd agree I don't think you should play with the gap unless you're friend really dosn't care about losing MMR and you just want to see what its like in a higher level lobby to get an Idea of what you need to be better at. At the same time I'd say you could have your higher ranked friend watch you stream on discord or something in you're own rank for tips ect.

Hi Leth, just a suggestion, but you should start coaching Danny and make this a series so we can watch him progress. Danny seems really cool and handles the advice well that you give him. You could go on an alt and do 2s with him and see how you fair together

@@kab00mm_ He already goes on alt accounts. Nothing wrong with it except some people have this weird non official rule about it like it holds weight in morality when it doesn't and shouldn't. It's just a game at the end of the day. Consider a smurf like a boss battle and learn from it then move on to the next game. Every pro is smurfing when not playing against other pros. Why even try to work for those higher ranks when you are scared to play against them once in a blue moon?

This whole time I thought Danny was a really good player just to find out I’m higher ranked (EDIT: similarly ranked placing grandchamp doesn’t make much of a difference). He keeps up pretty well in your game modes so I never batted an eye.

@@artemis8315 I regularly play cas and fluctuate a ton between 1400-1600 mmr (depends on the day and who I'm with, if anyone). At 1600 I was frequently getting c2-c3, occasionally gc's but it was very few games So yea I experienced it a little bit and that's kinda fueled the fire ngl xD Playing full sweat vs people I know I shouldn't be able to beat was really fun because every single goal felt like an immense victory, even if I still lost the game.

@@MinecraftTestSquad at my current mmr (always between 1640-1710) in cas, I'm getting tons of GCs, high champs, and SSLs. It pretty chaotic up there. Everybody is super fast. Also, as someone who only soloques, it's sometimes hard to win with a champ teammate against 2 SSLs

HUGE THANKS TO GMG BRO!!! ❤❤ I have active brain seizure activity and my doctor said I wouldn't be able to play games anymore. Honestly made me a bit depressed to hear thag.
