Hey Schoell! There's so many things that I wanna say, but to start off, you did absolutely incredible. I'd been looking forward to seeing another Schoell/Krome video for a long time! Ever since I got PPT Switch on sale and tried my heart out at the story and now online, your funny videos with Krome really inspired me and I watch them all the time. So you can imagine my reaction when I saw this video come out. The respect you showed to your opponents by giving a little bio on them before every match was excellent. I don't think I could ever become a big-name player but your videos make me want to keep trying my best. I hope I can play doubles with a friend sometime! You and Krome did amazing and that final match was absolutely worth the wait. The lack of music intensified what was a pure 1v1 Puyo Puyo game, sorta like down to its origins... masterful editing and sound work. Looking forward to seeing what you make next.

My GOD... This was awesome and I was really nervous just watching! I've played my fair share o Tetris tournaments, but seeing this made me realize I need more time to be the player I want. To Schoell: You are an impressive player and no, you didn't let the team down. I choose to see you as the Puyo player that didn't gave up and fought with everything you got. To Krome: Man, your Tetris skills are INCREDIBLE and I even learned some tricks from the shenanigans videos! The lag attacked you, but you pulled out fixes that were really incredible! Holy crap you guys had an amazing run through this I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and that last set was just *incredibly close* Don't feel bad about "letting the team down" or anything. You guys make an incredible team, and the ways you guys were able to take down your opponents were great. Omega was pretty entertaining here, as were you. I like the addition of background on the opponents (along with the more humorous descriptions) as it helped show how fearsome they are. Everyone who partook in this did a great job and I can imagine just how unstoppable you’ll all become. I was getting quite shaken during the last few sets, which really shows how great you all are. You may not see yourself as one of the best Puyo players, but you’re great in my book!

That isn't a rude comment at all! c: With my videos I don't generally make it a focus to show off *HYPER EXTREME TOP LEVEL COMPETITIVE GAMEPLAY* or something like that xP, rather just what I thought would be fun or interesting to make. Krome and I explicitly discussed like a lot of things, just asking what to do where in what situation and also just practising the layout a bit, helps when the person you have a lot of great chemistry with also happens to be a demon at Tetris =D Despite PuyoGB being dormant, I think I might be able to call in a few favors to maybe get the Collision 2022 vods uploaded, since I think they're around somewhere but for that. Unlikely that I can actually do that, but we'll see. Also yeah there should be more doubles events. Way too hype of a format to go unnoticed.

Short Answer: I don't know specifically. For Collision 2022 I was involved in the seeding for the Puyo Puyo Tetris/Champions Events (aside from the Fever tourney) since I'm staff at PuyoGB, however I was not involved with the seeding done for the doubles tournament since I was a competitor. I can assume that the seeding was done either just randomly or just went by order of signups, I can't quite remember which. Not exactly the best way of going about it I know.

All but one of the BGM tracks here come from A Hat in Time. The one that plays in round 3 is called "Rush Hour" from the Nyakuza Metro DLC. Had a recent obsession with the game's OST when I made this (and I still do for that matter xP) and I just wanted to use it for this project! The game's soundtrack is BOPPIN'!
