I couldn't agree more Daxi, I took part in my first regionals back in 2017, and struggle a lot with anxiety and mental health. Going to regionals was one of the best confidence boosts I have experienced and was just a blast even though the nerves got to me. still went 5-3 but met a lot of awesome people along the way. 100% would encourage more to take part in these IRL events even if it is just the once.

I’m glad you’re having fun with the game. Yesterday I, and my entire family, quit Pokemon Go and deleted the app. We were pushed out of the game as the thousands we each spend a year has been cut in half with the raid changes. No point in spending just as much to get half as much. I’ll still continue to like and follow you videos even though I don’t play anymore.

Tournaments like this are never fair. You might have a huge gap in your team, but then just get lucky to never run into someone with the pokemon in it. Its nearly more like poker to be honest.

I think you can built a balanced team and have not too many weaknesses - but ya there always will be a Pokémon that can beat you

I have a question. Why does the tournament format have your opponent aware of exactly what Pokémon you’re bringing? Seems like kinda the whole point of pvp is not knowing what your opponent is bringing. Would it not be more competitive if you had to play around uncertainty?
