There is some historical context. Paris, which Lumiose is based on, went through its own "urban redevelopment" in the 1850s. A man named Baron Haussmann was commissioned by Napoleon III to redesign Paris into something with more "light and open-space". Over 20 years, Haussmann redeveloped Paris with wide boulevards and improved housing while also overhauling the piping and sewer systems underneath Paris and improving the transit system. It made for a Paris that was able to handle an increasing population that made it easier to get to any part of the city. Before, Paris was nothing but small, overcrowded medieval-type streets that were dark, dingy, dangerous, and unhealthy.

That's why it's called Pokemon Legends Z-A because its usually takes place before the original game comes up. The holographic presentation is just a blueprint for redeveloping the urbanize Lumiose City. The key words here we know it's before XY is the "A Vision of beautiful coexistence between people and Pokemon..." means that there are still conflict with the relationship if pokemon and humans. Modern eras are now getting along with pokemon but here it's to coexist. Also not a coincidence that they choose Kalos after Paldea because Paldea is a representation of Spain so it's near France which Kalos is based on. Not gonna be surprised if they mentioned Paldea and Galar (representation of UK) because they were in war before. actually Paris, France got a redevelopment plan in the 1850s like literally they demolished many buildings and ended the redevelopment plan by 1889 by finishing the Eiffel Tower last. It's possible for a future Kalos but it wouldn't feel like Legends if it's like that to be honest.

When I watch the Direct with another person, we went "Wait is it already over, that was so Anti-Climatic", and then went "Wait it ain't over, what is this". I said in the lines off "There are a lot of Gen 6 Pokemon I am Seeing here". and then Luminos City appeared and we were like, that was not expected. Cause before the Present happened, My prediction was a Legends game base in Unova, My friend's prediction was a Let's Go game in Johto.

Who can really say what direction we go? I think AZ's Florette actually may have been the first Battle Bond pokemon. It took on AZ's colors and even learned a move that is unique to it and it alone. Not gonna lie, I was also caught off-guard. I had originally skipped out on the Pokemon Presents because it happened while I was busy with other stuff. But when I did watch it, I noticed the Unown and I thought we'd probably get something Gen 2-related. And then after the Legends-styled text came up, I figured "okay we would get a Legends Johto game which is pretty neat". Nope, the trailer decided to show stuff relating to Gen 6 and Kalos, specifically Lumiose City. And now I'm even more hyped. Btw, I originally planned on making a bingo card for this for shits and giggles, but because my day was so busy, I couldn't be bothered. Still, hyped about Legends Z-A and also kind of TCG Pocket.

I'm an idiot. I was so excited that we going Kalos again and that I didn't relaize that the new Pokémon game is a Legends game which it going to be like Legends Arcueus. 3 random starters from previous games and it open world. I love Kalos. X and Y are my favorite game. It the only games that I can play over and over again and never get tired of it. I think I plays in Kalos 3 or 4 times. I thought the new game was an enhanced version of X and Y like platinum is an enhanced version of diamond and pearl. I was wrong. I don't like open world games. I don't usually play video games except for Pokémon because I love how linear and simple it was. I didn't play even Legends Arcueus because of the open world part and how hard it looked. I did played Pokemon Scarlet and when I played, I hated the open world part of it that I didn't finish it. Thinking it would be the last game I would play. I will consider getting the new game when I see more of it. I am really excited to visit Kalos again but i want the Kalos from X and Y. I have original character that is from Kalos and I make up stories about her in my head. I wanted to make my OC team and do her story in the new game but it won't be the same if it legends. I don't even know if Fennekin will be the starter. Fennekin is my all time favorite starter. I was excited that I was going to be use it again but I guess not.

It was obvious we wouldn't get gen 5 remakes. The gen 4 remake is way too recent and they make remakes each two generations so this will be after gen 10 most likely. People were constantly talking about gen 5 remakes because that's what they wanted and it's logical to expect it after gen 4 remakes so their desire made them believe it would be the next new thing. But it's not because it makes sense that it will necessarely happen. They didn't take the schedule into account nor a new spin-off or Legends game.

All I could say is please be good! But I’m so happy that we’re coming back in Kalos! I hope Horizons will make something for promoting this game especially bringing back Serena and meeting Liko and Roy. And who knows maybe Ash can make a cameo and is traveling with her at the end after Serena’s meeting with Liko and Roy. But I’m not keeping my hopes up just yet because it still too soon. I just hope that they at least do justice to Kalos after the disaster that was Journeys.

Had me a bit in the intro, Gen5 gets some undeserved s*** thrown its way, but yeah, I get being wary of a remake after how BDSP was for Sinnoh. I was expecting Johto, so I was expecting to be underwhelmed too, its lore and story just never appealed to me as much as other regions, so even a Legends announcement of that wouldn't have made me hyped all that much. But KALOS? KALOS?! A game that I've been saying for years GF utterly shafted and deserves better? I am stoked for this! :D

Just saw the trailer for the new legends game coming and… idk how to feel. I want to be hype and I know people are already saying “they’re taking there time” but just cause it’s coming a whole year and so from now don’t mean anything. I’m waiting for gameplay to see how this will look, and improves from the previous game, I am happy for mega evolution returning. Plus it’s Kalos one of my favourite regions, hoping it will be better and all but knowing how greedy and how much they rush the games out despite glitches and it not being the quality it could be.. I totally get your concerns especially with all the technical issues that SV had 😅 but tbh I don't really remember Legends Arceus having any kind of major issues from a technical pov. Speaking from my experience I think Arceus was pretty solid and I actually enjoyed it a lot! And now having a game that I really liked now having a connection to my Gen 6 just makes it even better for me! :D But I agree that we still need to see more before making a proper judgement

Chibi graphics and true to heart gen 4 story, gameplay, mechanics and the pixilated chibi's brought to a 3D render and charm of the original characters, how ever could they do that!?... I never complained about the style and the graphics of BDSP. In fact if you look back during my first reaction video on BDSP I actually LOVED that they stayed true to the original. Maybe I should've gone into detail about my reasoning,but I didn't want to make the video too long. My main problems and why imo the gen4 remakes were ruined were mostly on several things: 1. The game especially at the beginning of its launch was broken af with several glitches and even bugs that broke the game. 2. It was faithful to DP which is good, but it also should have added all the improvements that Platinum provided to gen 4 like a bigger National Dex. In that regard ILCA was maybe a lil bit TOO faithful to the original. Also several Pokémon (e.g. teh eeveelutions) and evolutions (Gliscor,Rhyperior)were unavailable until post game. 3. Even though the style of chibis were imo great, it also made moving them really hard especially if you use the joystick. Running through Mt. Coronet was so stressful. There were also some other problems like for example how the "Pokémon following mechanic" wasn't really that optimized, but these were basically my issues with the gen4 remakes

Idk if it's actually the case or not but in the Pokémon Masters Ex games there's a guy called Paulo who really has a striking resemblance to Irida! :O But this is just my guess

I know this completely your choice on how to blindly react to this type of stuff. But analyzing before even watching the entire trailer to the end, imo disrupts the flow of how it should be revealed desired by the creator of the trailer. I’m sorry to be a hater but I really don’t like that type if blind reactions to game trailers. I’m completely fine with analyzing it after your first watch through.

My good sir ! May I say, you have been a part of my CHILDHOOD. I loved the XY anime, and you were one of my BIGGEST source of validation. I was a child. I'm an adult now. You're still here, and we are getting Pokemon Z. Do you know how much that means to me ? Not only that, but it's a Legends game !
