I'll copy and paste my comment if you don't mind: "The weird thing that I noticed looking at the scrambled unknown was that I thought Game Freak was making a reference to Sony of America's PS1 Commercial Slogan "U R Not E/ENOS", considering this year is the 30th anniversary of the Japanese launch of the Playstation 1 on December 3rd, 1994/September 9th, 1995. That's what I thought Game Freak was referencing considering they did work with Sony on publishing their games to the Super Famicom/Sony Playstation 1 prior to creating Pokemon in 1995/1996 for Nintendo and such."

People have theorized this is based off of the 1850’s reconstruction of Paris, which makes sense comparing it’s around the same time period as PLA. So prob not the Great War.

Many are confused because of the holographic presentation but gonna say it here... That's why it's called Pokemon Legends Z-A because its usually takes place before the original game comes up. The holographic presentation is just a blueprint for redeveloping the urbanize Lumiose City. The key words here we know it's before XY is the "A Vision of beautiful coexistence between people and Pokemon..." means that there are still conflict with the relationship if pokemon and humans. Modern eras are now getting along with pokemon but here it's to coexist. Also not a coincidence that they choose Kalos after Paldea because Paldea is a representation of Spain so it's near France which Kalos is based on. Not gonna be surprised if they mentioned Paldea and Galar (representation of UK) because they were in war before.

Lumiose city will be the hub like jublife city in legends arceus and each route entrance will lead you into a new area of the map. As you continue the game the city will be able to built more and more therefore making you the one who reestablished and built lumiose city

To use your words, the way it dawned on my mentally ill sleep deprived Pokémon brain was when I saw the people sitting at the little table because that IMMEDIATELY screams France and then Kalos to my brain and then retroactively I clocked all the Gen 6 Pokemon before the tower finally came into view and I knew it to be Kalos for sure. I then started thinking, "wait, is this a Legends game?" because of the paper and writing at the beginning and then I popped the f*ck off when the Z appeared because it's like we're getting the long lost Pokemon Z game...and then I popped off AGAIN when I saw the mega-evolution logo at the end because I'm thinking new megas are gonna show up in the game.

This game takes place in the future where Luminos is being made bigger, and better then it is now. Plus a tweet was sent out by Nintendo saying that the entirety of the game is taking place within the city itself…they made Luminos City so big that it’s essentially its own region.

Let me cook, pla was the 1st legends game it was in the past based off sinnog and how it was the first region and arceus. Then we get pokemon sv. Centered around time travel and the past and future. and now we're getting a new legends based off kalos (the best region) and its the "urban redelelopement plan". Which 100% means that this is based in the future, with means new future mons and new megas and old megas and new starters with megas and who tf cares about anything other than the megas 😭
