🤩 IMHO There are many-many ugly quilts in this world. This quilt is not one of them. It is ‘art’ - and belongs in a gallery or high-end gift shop if you decide to part with it.

Don't know if you planned this, but it was great to have a piano solo playing while you worked with the piano fabric. I really enjoy your channel. It's fun, and the quirky style makes it stand out from other "ordinary" quilting channels that I watch. Keep it up!

Oh hooray! I'm so happy I found your channel! Actually, someone referred me here, saying, "His fabric choices are absolutely bonkers, he seems to throw together the absolute weirdest, wildest fabrics yet by doing so it becomes so beautiful!" I'm not done watching this video yet but I love your process, and your collaging and your brain in general. It's like while I'm watching I can feel something opening inside the crafty part of my brain. New, weird pathways are being forged. And when I say weird, I mean it like the way you explained what you mean when you say "ugly," that you really mean other people will think it's ugly. I love what other people consider weird. So thank you for being ugly and weird and gorgeous!

Hi Dave, I am a new subscriber although I am not a new watcher. I have subscribed to SOOSO many channels and swore on my grandmothers grave that I was not going to subscribe to any more. So now that I have watched you a few times and grew to LOVE you. So much that I wish you were my grandson. I said " I just gotta do what I gotta do" and I punched that subscribe button and the jingle bell as well! I love your quilts. Especially the ugly ones. Just like people I love the ugly people more then I love the pretty ones. I especially love men with mustaches. I am ugly at my hubster for shaving his off. I just wanna watch you all day. I wish you were my next door neighbor and we could make arty quilts together. Now I gotta figure out where I could make me a design wall. I have no empty walls (yet). Keep on stitching and I will keep on watching. Hugs and blessings to you from Central Florida from this 74 (almost) year old lady.

I did not know that a walking foot could break that way while you are using it. Your quilt is not ugly. It is very busy and interesting. Most people will love it. However, you can't please everyone; because, some people don't want to be happy. They love to make everyone around them unhappy. This looks like a wonderful way to use up a lot of sample (orphan) blocks.

I love watching your videos. I just got an idea. You could put some quilt blocks on your king size wall, then put your projector on it with a shape of a piano or something then take the iron off marker, trace the shape, then sew the blocks, then do a turned edge appliqué onto another quilt or piece of fabric. Anyway, I love how creative and out of the box you are with quilting

DUDE! I’ll tell you what, half of those blocks you started with were, imho, on the ugly side. But not anymore, this is DEF one of my fav quilts. You’ve got a little bit of EVERYTHING in there and I LOVE it. Showing your early footage took some guts, but I’m a HUGE fan, some of it was great for a chuckle, other bits were great for seeing how far you’ve come. Prob a good thing you didn’t start out with it tho. Once again-GREAT video. Yay Tuesday!💕💚💗 pssst, fix your hair!🤣
