The Warriors blamed Poole for last year failures and I firmly believe they're paying for that this season. Even though Poole's efficiency took a hit last year, that guy still averaged 20ppg and played all 82 games. When Steph missed 26 games Poole's average jumped to 26ppg. Truth be told they wouldn't have even made the playoffs last year without Poole's production. Now they've traded him and they're not better without him. CP3 is good but he doesn't replace what Poole gave them. This year I don't think the Warriors will make the playoffs and everyone is going to point back to that trade as the reason why. Trying to appease the core and sacrificing their young players is what will ultimately end their dynasty!

I think the Draymond punch destroyed the concept of a 'Team' for JP. Once he realized the Warriors weren't going to punish Draymond at all for the sucker punch he probably checked out and didn't give a F about the team anymore. JP got a max contract and the franchise still didn't protect him or have his back. If a franchise is going to give me a max and not protect my interests, why should i protect their's? If i'm JP i'd say F the team and F the franchise. Last season after seeing JP fall off i thought it was either because of 1) lost all his confidence or 2) he doesn't care about the team or winning anymore. As a Wizards fan I don't feel bad for Jordan Poole at all. The man has the worst box plus minus in the league (or did a few days ago) leads the league in shots blocked and can't hit a jumper to save his life right now. I will reserve my sympathy for him once he starts playing at a fraction of his potential and the team still sucks, but I won't feel badly for a player that actively is making the team worse while having the biggest contract on the team.

Wow, why feel bad for JP? JP is a perfect case to show how too much money affects immature players. JP was instrumental for the one championship but that is why he’s making over $30 mil. Per year. Now, he just needs to prove everyone wrong by showing what he can do. Unfortunately, he hasn’t shown the motivation to be the top level player in the NBA. If all Poole truly wanted was to be "the man" why doesn't he have 147 FGA per game and leading the league in that category, instead of Kyle Kuzma leading the Wizards in FGA, also he got traded to the Wizards, I doubt that was his dream scenario. I saw several Warriors' games the year they won the championship. This year, I've seen two Wizards' games. The Company I work for gets really good seats so I can always see the players very closely. Poole looks so different this year. His face looks different, he's not in as good shape as before and he's disheveled. Something just doesn't seem right. Maybe I'm wrong and he's just lost his confidence. I hope he can get back to playing well because I'm sure he's miserable getting crushed by the media.

DING DING DING! They figured it out WITHOUT Klay in that 2021-22 season. I think Myers knew it the very game Klay came back into the lineup vs the Cavaliers. No one wants to admit it unfortunately.

Jordan Poole isn't worth feeling bad for. Regardless of how you feel about Green, Jordan isn't just an innocent person and hasn't been doing himself any favors. Also, Draymond be injuring dudes is a terrible take. 🤦🏾

If he had better shot selection I would agree with you however he just be out there doin some bull you’re one of my favorite sports commentators but go watch the wizards play and tell me he isnt responsible for the loss with them wayy too deep 3s and just poor basketball IQ

Outside of the punch and scapegoating i dont feel bad for Poole because he plays without good fundamentals and ends up playing a losing style of basketball.

I hate Poole, I found him super annoying and obnoxious, he flew too close to sun and melted his wings, said that, he did not deserve that punch, and didn't deserve to be thrown into the worst situation possible for him in Washington, I still can't fell bad for him yet since I still dislike him, but more and more I am going to the other side and sympathizing with him
