@@TalalipopMTB mine was the 2023 and it had slx shifter xt deraileur and slx casette. I changed them to XT set up. Kinda bummed they changed the brakes to Sram db8. I wanted the M6100 brakes. The rotors are huge though. I also change the the handle bar to carbon

Trek always make a good looking bikes. with inventory now returning to some what "normal" I wonder if the prices of these bikes return to pre-pandamic range?
@samharris35082 жыл бұрын
Inflation has a lot to do with that unfortunately. Unless we go through a recession. Prices for everything is going to be high.

Hi Man, thanks for the video. Do you know if there is much difference between sizes M/L and L?Someone is selling me a trek with size M/L but checking trek’s guidelines my size should be L but M/L is too close. I am 1.80cm, could work for me also the M/L size?
@TalalipopMTB2 жыл бұрын
They are different enough to notice, but it won't be so small that you won't have a good time riding it. I have a friend who is around 177cm, and he rides a size M/L Trek mtb and also has a size L, and is fine with them both. Either size will work for you; the M/L will be a smaller and more nimble bike that is more maneuverable, while the L is a slightly bigger bike that will be more stable at high speeds.

Man i have to say i need your bank account the way you are buying the new bikes. Thats a nice bike, you should do a video of all the bikes you own. you must have a special garage to house all of your bikes?
@TalalipopMTB2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I’m hoping to do a full collection overview sometime soon! Sounds really fun. And if by special garage you mean every room in my house, yes

Gen 5 is nasty when you take in the Gen 6 suspension and adjustability. Like there's actually no reason to buy a gen 5 these days.

For myself, it is ethier the Trek Fuel EX 9.7 or the Top Fuel 8. You get teh Trek Fuel you are basically just buying a frame. My understating is that the components of the Trek Fuel are all supbar.
