The secret to golf is the club is NOT designed to hit a ball like baseball or tennis. The club is designed to brush the grass. Just brush the grass on all swings, even chips and it will change everything for you

no reason snowmen are the worst. goin golfing in the morn and looking to break 90...keep on playing you will get better. i am back playing again after not playing for last 15 yrs, when i had played before then for about 20 yrs and was shooting low eighties...back at it again this summer. hitting every club 40 yards further than when i started swinging the clubs again in april this yr...bought a 10x10x10 net and woodshedded all summer and still hit atleast 50 or more balls a day and will hit them most of the winter until snow stays...shot 94 about a month ago, so as i said i am hoping to get close or break 90 tomorrow. Subbed and look forward to seeing your progress friend. Golf is good!

@@playbaad shot 105....too many "no reason" snowmen...lol some really great shots that will always keep me coming back, and i came back to my practice space and figured out my glitch however. of course its always down to how i set up to the ball. i set up with it to far back most of the time. If i place ball under my left arm pit with both feet together and club in my left hand behind the ball with shaft pointing at my left hip...then i move legs for set up...with ball ending up inside my left heel (under by left breast it feels like) with shaft pointing to just left of my belt buckle for fw and hybrids, and just ahead of middle of stance for irons (under my sternum) with shaft lean pointing between my belt and left hip. now to fix the 3 putt and 3 chip holes lol peace.
@tz77632 ай бұрын
there's a fine line between over thinking and under thinking those 3-4 foot putts. i have the same problem. you don't want to walk up there and just rip it without reviewing the pace, break, aim point etc but you also don't want to stand over the ball for 30 seconds and get too tense. it's also my biggest problem and i lose probably 2 strokes per round on 4 foot putts.
@playbaad2 ай бұрын
I usually under think them and then feel like I need to buy a new putter to fix my bad putting, lol. I feel you though. So many strokes can be saved with better putting.

Nice video! I can relate to your journey. It is a huge deal. I am now doing my best to break 90. The earlier holes, your swing tempo is a little off sync. But you did say that it was still too early. Good luck and I look forward to more videos and breaking courses.

Your swing is a lot smoother than previous videos. The hardest part of the swing is the transition from the top of the swing and then begin your downswing and stay controlled. I have better controls in my swing with irons, but still working on the driver, that is my most difficult club. My question to you is if your score improves, doesn’t that defeat the purpose of playing baad golf? Keep up the good work. This idea I have might be good for the channel, the part where you didn’t like where the ball lied near the green, and you contemplated on which club to use. I would like to see videos what you would do and then a better choice or option if your choice of club was incorrect. Of course this video would be separate from your golfing videos when counting your score. It would be like a self improving video, just a thought.
@playbaad2 ай бұрын
Thank you, I’ve been working on the swing. It’s slowly getting better. I play bad now, but the BAAD stands for Birdies, Aces And Draws. It’s kind of an aspirational play on words. I’m bad, but I want to be BAAD. So if I get better, it should still work. Thanks for the advice, that sounds like a good idea! I too swing better with my irons than my driver. We’re all works in progress!

First time watching your video ,very nice bro! Your game is definitely heading in the write direction. Like myself it looks like your rushing yourself just a little, But I get it! What people don’t realize is your multitasking your game setting up for your video shots and your golf shot! Keep up the good work. What are you shooting your vids with “camera”? Your vids are super sharp! 😊
@playbaadАй бұрын
Thank you! You got it! A lot of people don’t understand how much extra attention I have to give to camera setup and positioning before I even think about taking each shot. I’ve definitely gotten used to it, but I’m sure it adds strokes because I also want to make sure I don’t slow down pace of play. I shoot the majority of my videos with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I used to use a DJI Osmo Pocket 2 for some videos but the quality is definitely not as good as my iPhone and the file size is way higher as well. I usually shoot in 4K at 24 fps or 30 fps.

Until a golfer break 100 consistently they should not be playing the middle (white) tees. Don't let the ego get in the way. Move up a tee box and enjoy the lower scores.
@playbaad2 ай бұрын
I appreciate the thought. I definitely don’t play with any ego and there are times when I do play from the forward tees. Unfortunately I never broke 100 from the forward tees either. I will try it again though. Thanks for your comment.
