heads up for anyone making this! i am about 5'5.5" and around 145lbs. this cardigan comes to my hip bones! it is a lot shorter than it appears on the video creator. it fits like a cropped jacket or sweater. (i used size 6mm yarn, 80% acrylic 20% wool if that makes a difference. it does stretch but it is a lot shorter than i believed it was going to end up. keep this in mind if you want something long! add another row to the back/front panels)

You did pretty good overall, but my advice is definitely sew those ends in instead of cutting them off! I almost had my own mid life watching you do that! So after I picked my jaw up I have to say this is an intriguing process! Sew those ends if you want your squares to not fall apart in the wash though, ijs... I have experienced my own screw ups doing just that. This reminds me of my first days in creating apparel and honestly you did 150% better than I did. I really do enjoy watching your process and your humor. MOST OF ALL, I appreciate that your background music is soft and not maddening and masking your voice. Honestly this is the best tutorial I've ever seen and I swear I'm not just saying that, I'm learning new stitches and you made it so easy to understand I'm going to start making my cardigan tomorrow (hopefully) and this is going to save me because I'm clueless honestly from the bottom of my heart thank you for making this video it probably took a very long time to edit thank you for taking your time making this video I'm SUBSCRIBING

Just a tip for beginners: this method with the squares is really time consuming. Making front and back panels and sleeves is really not as intimdating as it looks. By all means, if this is the look you want to go for please do, but keep in mind that other ways to make cardigans are also beginner-friendly :) Also, this is literally the most gorgeous cardigan I've ever seen

i saw in the description that you don’t know which yarns you used for the yellow and blue but i think i found them! so for yellow i got “saffron” and for blue i got “orion blue” which are both lion brand!

Hi there, just wanted to say I really appreciate this tutorial because I’m intermediate at crochet and didn’t want something to hard. I am also doing this because I can see myself wearing it all the time. I’m doing Grey, sage green and periwinkle purple or like sage purple

Thanks for the vid. Never would have finished this project with out your Yoda like knowledge of crochet! I picked diff. colours tho so it's in faded denim, natural and gray blue.
