The rest of it exists to allow us to also experience the PTSD and mental destruction with the game glitches and bugs merely a representation of our own descent into the depths of despair and hopelessness. Somehow, watching Charlie suffer the last part of the game has made my sad, pathetic life seem suddenly teeming with joy and possibilities. I'm going to be completely honest, the 2nd half with Mell actually has decent story that's quite engaging, unlike in the 1st half where Gollum just made friends with randos, here it's more in his character, him and Mell were both using each other, but during that they bonded together, so kinda like Gollum's relationship with Frodo It's also very interesting how Smeagol was always viewed as the good one, yet in his route he killed Mell's boyfriend out of the same jealousy he had with Sam, while Gollum speard them because he's more concerned about finding the ring. Too bad the gameplay and bugs made it insufferable, dialogues always triggered at the wrong time, at the same time, or multiple time, and the gameplay was so boring 18:27 21:06, and yeah, I think the game bugged out, because those dialouges are meant for Gollum route, that's why they're so mean and angry

If there's one thing that this game positively contributes to, its the legitimacy of Smeagol's insanity. He didn't create a secondary personality just out of the evil influence of The Ring, he had role models in the elves!
