Great job sir! You've come a long way with that one. Proud of you for sticking with it.👏 just be careful on those bumps the drive shaft could pop out. Seen it before on some 80's lifted blazers off roading. Get stuck out in Diablo's sand dunes isn't fun.😂

Nice wk! I have a 5.3 4L80e combo it was challenging to get it to shift properly Tried multiple tuners local and mail Turned out a brand new swap harness from bp automotive would have saved me hundreds in long run

It might've been a harness issue. I'm using cheap Amazon ones lol, but none the less I still like how this nv4500 is so fSr

You are putting in some serious work man, good luck will be interested to see it driving in a new Video. I just happened across your channel and like your style, mostly the Suburban of course since I have an 86 K20, little different path than yours, went Big Block bored and stroked to a 496. I feel your pain modifying these old beasts, been working on mine since 2010, bought it for $1000 bucks when I lived in Farmington NM and been throwing money at it ever since.

Awesome setup you got! I just Ls swapped my 85 c20 burb with a 5.3/4lshitty. What long tubes are those? Im looking for some ebay specials to get me by till I turbo it (I will go 4l80e when I get a turbo) also at 12:44 in the video I noticed ur burb is on the ground so I wanted point out ur slip yoke looks like it needs alot more engagement with the output shaft on the T case, a general rule is when ur vehicle is on the ground on all 4 wheels it should preferably have no more than 1" 3/4 of the slipyoke shaft exposed that way so when you hit bumps or undulations in the road ur drivline doesnt fall out. Just something I noticed I know some slip yokes are pretty long but i know some are on the shorter end, and I can tell you from experience throwing a drivline in a squarebody is a 10/10 pucker factor.

@@GDG184 yea I do think my slip yoke is kind of out a bit. The headers are from speed engineering! They aren't super cheap but they are nice.

@@JovaniDanteGriego yeah I wanted to overbuild a rig with my brother. The plan was to go full nomad and live out of the burb. So it's got 1 ton axles with lockers, 6.0 LS out of a Cadillac (Which for FYI the drive by wire computer will not work with drive by cable setups), NV4500 to NP205 with an Advance Adapter setup, and gone twin stick. But plans changed, so now it's a camping family rig. Gives me time to add more stuff to it. ha ha ha
