In this video, I diagnose our 2012 Polaris Ranger 800 with a problem of having not enough fuel pressure due to a weak fuel pump, coupled with a design flaw by Polaris that causes a vapor lock condition. When the Ranger would get to operating temperature and then you turn the engine off, it would not restart unless you waited roughly 15 minutes.
The procedure to replace and test fuel pumps in other side by sides and ATV's should be very similar to the processes I used in this video and the fuel pressure test kit in the link below should work with most other models as well.
