What's happening good people today I finally gave into the calling of the Duro and grabbed one for a great price from Amazon in the US. Turned out its cheaper to get from there than in the UK. Go figure. Anyways was that a good thing to do?

I've found mine to be a very easy enjoyment that lasts. It has stayed dead on accurate for monthsnd it's size has become a new comfortable norm for my wrist, an easier glance for time, tough enough for some heaviy work and dresses up fine. I can only speak for myself? But this little watch covers bases enough and is smart money spent. The value in quartz is real....a divers use is real from stress free play to taking care maintaining lifestyle. Casio did nail this.

I’m always impressed by Casio’s consistency in getting its quartz movements to always hit the markers on the dial. Most of the Swiss movements don’t.

Me too, they hit just about bang on and you're right about swiss, had two that fail to hit their markers. Might make for a fun video.

This movement on the Duro is by Citizen, not Casio.

Duros are great for the price. The internals are just your plane cheapo quartz analog movement with a big ol plastic movement holder but it gets the job done and looks great doing it.

Absolutely, but still manages to hit markers better than some expensive swiss quartz, so they must be doing something right.

i forgot i had this watch, bought in 2015. because it was not expensive, i kept in a cigar box with some other watches in a pile. last week, i was spring cleaning and found the box. everything else was rusted and leaking, the other watches had to be thrown out, and the duro's strap crumbled like a cookie. but the piece itseld was shining like i just bought it. that is testament to its quality. the cherry is when i brought it to a shop for new batt and strap, the man said i had a collector's item! new respect for the Duro.

The strap is actually really comfortable, no hair pulling anf the ridges aren't irritating at all.

The Duro is an awesome watch, it's a watch you have to try on and own at least once. It is slightly big, but wears nicely despite that. I sold mine, but will definitely rebuy it at one point, a shame not to have one for that price.

I got a duro last year. Superb. I've got loads of straps and an Aliex explorer bracelet arrives imminently. Tip Top quality and it looks nice. Lug to lug is sensible and the hands are smart. No Mercedes in sight.

Woop woop 100th Post 📫 🙌 👏 marlin mmm tasty, a friend came for dinner and I was showing him my seiko skx and he was wearing the casio, thing is he's a dive master qualified in South Africa where as me going on about the seiko auto being so great, feels like he was the professional and I have to say if I was seriously pro I'd have the grab and go duro!

I have two of them, the black and blue black. Both retrofitted with sapphire lenses. Outstanding watches, stylish, dead accurate and bullit proof. I dive and work in the yacht/marine industry. They are outstanding value for money.

Before even getting far into video this one will fit quite large/huge on your wrist. It’s a fantastic watch though no question, I got both the black and the blue dial, blue is gorgeous, and I gave it away to a good friend. Still have the black one. Have to say bang for Buck this is the best budget diver out there imo. Lots of peeps don’t like the strap but I don’t mind it at all. What a tease, but my prediction, too big for Wes

The Casio Duro offers a lot of bang for the buck. I don't care for the rubber strap, but with the savings, adding a steel bracelet won't break the bank.

Bought the Blue Duro w/ marlin 3 months ago, and it's running very slow now. Looked at it the other day and it had lost almost an hour. Any suggestions ? . . . I really love the look, feel, and fit of the watch. Cheers

Sounds like you could have potentially got an old stock with an old battery. If you can I would try and return for a new and if that's not an option, I'd try a new battery and see if that helps.

It’s a shame about the bezel on the 106’s sometimes. I also have a ‘fish free’ 107 and the bezel is as tight as a drum.

The band is fine, if you are going to actually use it as a Dive Watch, otherwise, change it. I just ordered a "gold" Duro, and should receive it Monday. I have a 7-1/2" wrist, so the watch should fit me, just fine.....Amazon us, for $40 USD.

Fantastic packaging, LOL. It's generic, very big, and quite boring. If you have a big wrist and want a beater watch, its fine. Phoibos made something more wearable and cheaper with a decent bracelet. Enjoyed the video mate

In spite of all the hype I also havent owned one yet... They look nice but I think that it would eventually be relegated to storage. That being said however now that I see yours I want one hahaha! That watch however works on so many things! It would look badass on a nato or zulu strap!
