That crossed my mind as well. Although rear-ending someone else is one of the most flea-brained things one can do behind the wheel, I feel (almost) sorry for the other guy. I can picture the insurance agent telling him, across a huge, cluttered desk, after having totaled-up all the expenses from the rental company and the repair shop: "We are never insuring you again. Or your children, or your children's children."

Glad to hear you finally got your vehicle fixed, CB. It's ridiculous that they took that long to fix your car. The fact that they told you it was done and you get there and they are still working on it is absolutely unsatisfactory. The engine cooling system includes the radiator. You're in Ohio, go to Cedar Point!

0:45 I actually stayed at that DoubleTree before last October 2022. I was driving home to Kentucky from my New England Road Trip and that was the last day of the trip for me and last stop. I actually used my Hilton Points and got a discount.

I am glad you got your car back. I am surprised that Geico opted to fix the car instead of totaling it considering the cost of rebuilding it. My sons car got totaled a month or so ago and it was a pretty fast process. Thats a good looking car though. Happy driving!

Never Heard of a Repair Shop taking so long to fix a car. The cost of the rental for that period probably could of put a dent into the cost of a new car. Glad you are reunited I would love to see you go on a National Park Tour

I am a proud owner of a 2005 Equinox. Bouught it second hand in 2007. Just had a motor job done to it, $2700 cdn. But I can not complain, the old girl does not owe me a thing. My husband always got the vehicles, but I choose this and paid for this myself. I would get another in a heart-beat. Hubby did not like my choice, but it was my money. His health is not the best over his life, but this car got us to all medical appointments and hospital emergencies. The latest traveling 3 times aweek for dialysis two counties over. She almost went through two sets of tires for all that traveling. We just got the news that he does not have to do that long commute. Our local dialysis unit had an opening, someone was able to get a kidney transplant. We only have a 15 minute commute now. I will miss being on the road Mon., Wed. and Fri. for his apt. When I worked I only asked if she would last till I can retire. Well she did. I worked one month short of a yeat past retirement (had to quit because of health). I always drove my cars into the ground, but this one is different. I hope to have her around for a time yet. Keep your liquid levels up and frequient oil changes. That shows respect. Thank-you for all your videos, I have enjoyed them so, love the spin you have on them. You don't sugar coat and hide ordinary happenings; divorce, dating, dental apt. and car breakdowns. Hugs to both you and Jenn. Wishing you both the best. Now on to the next road trip!

You have made me up my insurance on a newer car. Even an oil or air filter has been difficult to find. I was dropped for road side assistance and rental car but will fight to get it back.

My car was in the body shop for 103 days recently (thanks Jack-wagon, who rear ended me) I thought that was a very long time, for the damage being so minimal. I'm glad yours is back Jake! Great video as always.

Yay! A supercharger or turbocharger is a device that allows manufacturers put a smaller "more economical" engine in vehicles and "boost" the engine power. They do this to many small 4 cylinder vehicles and such as well on high performance cars and such. Hope to catch you sometime in Rochester! Safe travels!

I'm so glad that you finally got your Chevy Equinox back. As you were showing it, it reminded me why I got rid of mine. I lived in Peoria, AZ. and that town, along with Sun City and Glendale, residents kept mistaking my Equinox for a squad car. One time I even got told to take the car to the police station for them to look at the car to see if I modified it. I told the officers, "Would a squad car have handicapped plates?" They cleared it but shopping center parking lots people would knock on the window and when I wound it down would start off with, "Officer, can you help me?" Even on Route 101 or Grand Avenue, drivers wouldn't pass my car unless they were doing the speed limit. My Equinox was black and I seriously considered having it repainted red. I then just got rid of it and have always wondered if that's why the last owners got rid of it. BEWARE IF YOU DRIVE YOUR EQUINOX THROUGH PEORIA, SUN CITY, OR GLENDALE, ARIZONA.

I'm sure you didn't forget, only in the moment of recalling all Nissan's apparent unreliabilities that could have happened. Perhaps Nissan could make you an offer to star in their coming year of commercials: The man who stuck by their brand all across the United States, showing us that the Equinox and the Altima are the absolute best! Good for you Jacob! i hope you can now find some peace of mind, and i'm grateful and thankful for all those nice roadside attractions and stories you took us along with in all those months!

WooHoo!! Congrats🎉 Your car looks like it is midnight blue. My brother drives for Enterprise Car Rental in Central PA. He has to go to garages like where you left your rental to bring them back to home base or drop them off at other rental offices. He hasn't made it to OH yet. He has gone to MD, NJ and NY so far to bring back cars. It is a great retirement job. Have you gone to Delgrosso Amusement and Water Park in western PA? Safe travel this summer.
