Amen! I’m only 43 and I remember as a kid my grandfather and my dad I had no idea how they voted or what party they leaned too. I remember understanding that that is something you don’t talk about it was only your business. No clue why that changed.

My dad and grandpa were real men and kept their political beliefs to themselves, and didn't expect everyone else to possess the same belief systems! Those times back then were so much better in this nation and if we could go back to the way people were in the 80s and early 90s, we'd be faarrrrrrr better off and not so divided!

Jacob, I have been watching your channel longer than any other I watch on KZbin going back at least 5 years. I look forward to each video and I can't tell you how much your videos have meant to me. After my fiancee died I feel into a level of sadness I've never known before. Visiting with you every day has helped me work through the sadness, think about going to the places you visit, and not feel like my world is so small now. I hope you read this and know how important you are to some of us and how much joy you bring with every video. In this video I learned even more about you and appreciate all you do. Dude, get a Coleman propane stove and a pot and a pan. Walmart sell them and you'll always be able to pull over and make a quick hot (and healthy) meal. An absolute must for roadtripping if you're trying to avoid restaurants.

I agree you can get a cast iron skillet my husband makes some great meals on it! You can wash it in the hotel room or gas station bathroom. Or get a tote and make it into a sink.

Portable truckers stove would work as well If he goes to a truck stop and get the plug in trucker cooler, I would keep a weeks worth of food in there and would keep it COLD usually ended up freezing my bottled water

Great video, Jacob! I’m Type 2 as well, so I try to eat more salads and Subway. Zero Sugar drink mixes from Dollar Tree to add to water helps a lot to cut down sugar. I agree with you in eating stuff that you crave every once in a while. Hope to run into you in the Northeast sometime next week!

Hey Jacob I’m glad you’re eating healthy, I know getting sick sucks. I got sick last year with diabetes and people will always put their 2 cents in about how you should eat. Its very difficult to change eating habits,my weight is something I’ve struggled all my life ( now 40) and getting healthy takes time. Don’t be so hard on yourself. We know you eat and do all these things for us and we appreciate it. Every little step counts. Have you started Ozempic? Have a good time and enjoy life is all that someone needs to worry about. I feel as if all your statements are true and factual, you never are political about anything, and it's nice to sit back and watch someone do something they enjoy and it's like the audience is there to enjoy it with you. Keep doing what you love to do and forget the negativity surrounding anyone's negative comments. Also, it's definitely okay to share your health concerns without feeling embarrassed or feeling bad about it because we all want to be healthy and if something is wrong or something is changing it's nice to just get it out and tell it how it is, and that's your choice to do so. I totally understand Jacob. I had Type 2 Diabetes brought on by acute pancreatitis. The people I live with shamed me for eating salads and lots of veggies🥗🥦 That was beyond frustrating. They encouraged me to drink full sugar sodas and eat tons of carbs. Luckily,my pancreas healed and I'm no longer considered a Diabetic. But I agree, people should mind their own business. You're so right on politics. It's one side or the other. The other side is "evil". Ugghh I have diabetes too. I getcha when you say people judge you on what you eat. I take care of my diabetes but sometimes I just want ice cream or cookies....it won't kill me. It's so easy for people to sit back and judge. I enjoy your rambling ..and your honesty. It's refreshing and makes you relatable on a human level. Keep it up!❤
