I went from a 2010 3v GT to a 2015 5.0, hugggeeee difference! I also put on a PMAS intake and e85 tune and it’s insane. I’m excited to see you run some of your friends bc no one in Lubbock will race me and I’m curious of how fast it is

I just got my 2016 GT tuned at a shop out here in PHX. The tuner unlocked something in the computer and said I can run E85 if I want to now. He said don’t mix it and make sure I run full tanks of either E85 or 91 when I run it out. I’m kinda scared to run it. Idk why I thought I had to change injectors...any thoughts??? Thanks

The stock injectors would work but uour really stressing them at that point, U47s are definitely the way to go. I have a 16 as well

Stock Gen 2’s are fine on e85 as long as you have the stock manifold. When you change the manifold you need at least LU47’s. Edit: you do need a tune to run E85 which you have, but if anyone else read this you NEED a tune.

I know this is an old video. What was done to allow you to rev to 7500 RPM? Just the tune? I was told revving that high would shatter the oil pump gear’s. Just grabbed me a 2015 Mustang Gt.

I think a power pack 3 will allow higher rev limiter

You were lied to, lotta these coyotes even boosted are revving higher than that. What you need to remember is stay off the limiter, and if you’re tuned you need to make sure your tuner is using a soft limiter as opposed to a hard limiter. Go Lund if you’re getting tuned, they use a soft limiter and they have the most knowledge on 5.0’s.

You should look into doing something with the Dragy app. It records speed and also times 0-60, 1/4, and a bunch of other metrics as an overlay over your video. Great video! The new car looks great.

Hell yeah dude!!! And man I can say i miss the 3V all the time!! One of my favorite cars and definitely was more of a "raw" feeling that the coyote. Maybe one day ill get another one!
