I Finally Played Papers, Please and it was AMAZING

Welcome to Papers, Please! This is an incredible indie game that I've never made a video about before. In this game you are a border security guard and it's up to you to make sure that noone gets in who has incorrect papers, but that's not as easy as it seems! Along the way you meet many interesting people who are trying to sway you to their cause. Let's see how we end up! ENJOY!

I remember really struggling with this game, until realising I could absolutely *kill it* by plugging in my art tablet and using my pen instead of a mouse and keyboard. I suddenly became the fastest checkpoint official in Arstotzka.

@@areia17 Not a dumb question! I used a screenless Huion 1060PLUS at the time. I just plugged it into my computer like I was going to draw, ran the game, and used my pen like a mouse, tapping and dragging instead of clicking and dragging. I still had to use the keyboard for pausing and such, but I'm sure that if I had bothered to remap the keyboard commands to my tablet buttons, I could have used the tablet for everything.

They're so used to everyone lashing out at them whenever they're questioned or denied/detained (even if it's for a good reason because they're doing something illegal and they know it) that it's a huge breathe of relief when someone reasonable shows up.

2:44:05 it's honestly so heart breaking to detain Jorji just cuz he's that funny lil guy that even your own character builds a minor relationship shown when your character calls Jorji by name to wait for security. I like to imagine with each time you see Jorji, your guy can't help but smile when you see him going, "Alright, what's it this time?" and when he finally has everything in order legally you feel real happy for him. then comes the unfortunate reveal that he's a drug dealer. detain him, and your character feels disappointed. let him through, and you two share symbiotic comradery

I'm new here and I just wanted to say I really enjoyed watching this playthrough. It's one of the best I've seen for pure entertainment factor without it being too over the top.. like I don't feel I need a break from the content creator. It was all great and easy watching. Papers, Please is an absolute gem of a game. Its easily one of my favourite games ever. I've played on my pc and I bought it on my phone so I can play while in the airport etc. I day dream sometimes about playing it on the trans siberian express while munching on a pickle and sipping Russian Standard Platinum vodka. Haaaa a man can dream... Anyway thanks for the entertainment 🙏.
