You probably figured it out/remembered, but the Forms are powered by Rings. If Sonic, Shadow, and Shadic didn't have enough Rings, they wouldn't be able to stay in their Super or Hyper forms, which is why we see Sonic collecting Rings and giving them to Shadow. If they didn't have enough Rings for the final clash, Nazo would've overpowered them. Oh yeah, and there is a different between the Chaos Emeralds and Super Emeralds. Basically the Chaos Emeralds have their own Super Forms, caused by the Master Emerald

From what i remember about Nazo he's scrapped sonic form or character from the show sonic-x, who appeared for a split second as single image or short clip during one of the trailers, the file that the image of Nazo when found was labelled Nazo so everyone called him that, it inspired fan art and animations. Nobody knows if he's a scrapped charatcer or a scrapped new form for sonic or shadow, if he was supposed to be modern take on hyper sonic or a cannon fusion of sonic or shadow. Nobody knows so people just started making shit up as back story which led to the back story in the Nazo unleashed animation your currently watching.
