Dang everybody disrespecting Eggman for not fighting and instead having the Machines fight for him but the way i see it is that Eggman's whole thing is being smart and strategic. It would be absolutely stupid as a human with no powers to try and fight Bowser head on and on his own. So it makes sense for him to plan the attack a different way. I love how they showcase how Eggman at his best usually has back up plans and strategies to win the fight. Bowser is Powerful on his own while Eggman isn't so thats why they take 2 different approaches in battle. I like how they show the hole in Eggman's army, particularly with his heaviest hitters. Bowser's heaviest hitters are Jr, Kamek, and King Boo. While not as powerful as say Neo Metal they do provide a lot of utility to support Bowser, the actual muscle, very well. Battle field control (Jr and King Boo), trickery to mess with the enemy (Kamek and King Boo), and direct support and protection for Bowser himself (Kamek and Jr). And Kamek is also a bit of a strategist as well. A very good team with abilities that compliment eachother very well. Now Eggman's isn't very complete. First off Eggman himself isn't much of a fighter most of his mechs Bowser could tear through like paper mache so he's more of a pure strategist than anything. Now, Sage while powerful her powers mainly affect machines. She was such a force in Frontiers because the enemy, the titans, were machines. Since Bowser doesn't have anything like that, realistically the three things Sage did in the fight is pretty much all she could do. Infinite while can do good damage he the definition of a glass cannon being pretty easy to take down when you get your hands on him. Not to mention King Boo is just a really good counter to Infinite. Which leaves use with Metal who is a legitimate threat and can win most of the fight on his own. However, this where the problem lies. If two of the heaviest hitters are left to be cheerleaders for a lot of the fight and the other is easy to take down Bowser could just focus his offense on Metal and overwhelm him. If the Death Egg wasn't there the fight was won as soon as Metal was gone. Eggman probably has the stronger army overall in terms of raw strength, but strategically Bowser has the better army.

@@AbnerBarrios1996 they forgot to mention probably the strongest Trump card that eggman has, that being the master emerald which is Literally more powerful than the chaos emeralds and is stated to have infinite power, eggman even used it to power multiple mechs in the past also the master emerald can even POWER the chaos emeralds into the super emeralds which grants the user the hyper form!. If the master emerald was used in this Neo could’ve achieved two forms in this fight, that being a hyper form we’ve never seen before or obtain his Master Overlord Form.

@@joekool0078 Problem with this Hyper doesn’t exist in cannon, it was a one off thing for people who played through the original sonic vs knuckles, same goes for the super chaos emeralds. They literally don’t exist and never will, even the creators of sonic said they were a one off thing; the master emerald can’t do that anymore because it never could in cannon kek
