I’ll get the Live MPC!!!! As player that would frustrate me not being able to stretch why I use 88 keys!!! It was great seeing you and everyone I haven’t laid eyes on in a long time at the home going!!!

I''m down for every tutorial on the MPC37 from how to make a beat from scratch, loading sounds and putting sounds on pads, arrangement, and possibly mixing with the stock plugins!!!

Got mine last week, I'm diggin it. Agreed with everything you said it just depends on the individual. If you have a 61 you probably do not need the 37 unless you're traveling a lot. If you're cool using the pads to play chords on the older MPC you probably do not need this. I have played around with MPC stand alone products in the past but never owned one so this is perfect for people like me. It's an introduction into the MPC universe. It does have issues in controller mode connecting to FL Studio and MPC2 in my experience. Sometimes it just crashes the software immediately after I load a project and press play. Haven't completely figured out why it does that yet. But controlling MPC2 from the 37 is dope once you get it working.

I think the MPC 37 is the start of maybe a flagship device for Akai……..Remember the Miko with it’s on board PC? I think Akai may come up with a better OS for MPC and it will be similar to a DAW.

Have you ever used an MPC? The OS literally IS a DAW.

I think it really needed a battery 🔋 the key 61 is not much bigger than the 37 and lose the Xtra features the 61 has is not worth it for me.

Would you agree that the MPC Key37 is just a repackaged MPC One? Also how do You find song camps?
