Like you I am wowed & love this foundation, it checks all the boxes 4me Doesn't look cakey, Doesn't settle into fine lines, it lasts, works with all my skin prep including ANY sunscreen I choose both physical & Chemical ones, and finally that PRICE !!! OMG are you kidding me🤣it's amazing. I’ve got this and it’s BEAUTIFUL! The shade is perfect with no oxidisation, the coverage is a perfect medium in my opinion, I don’t get oily, it doesn’t exasperate my dry patches, it lasts. I am so incredibly happy with it and I’m not surprised it’s taken the internet by storm ❤❤❤

An oily-er skin girl here! It actually wears quite nice, just need to make sure skin is prepped correctly before hand! (Light exfoliation before hand in my case)

Yes, me too! (Oily) I just used a primer and a good setting powder and spray and I was good to go. It has the tiniest fragrance. Pretty negligible, I think.

I have oily combo skin and I LOVE this foundation ! The Dior Backstage Face & Body has been my favorite for a while but I’ve legit been choosing this foundation the Dior 🤯👀 I definitely have to set my t-zone and use the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray to help it from rubbing off if I give someone a hug lol but it holds up really well! The Dior makes the drier parts of my face look a little emphasized by the end of the day and the ELF foundation just stays skin-like in every part Of my face all day long!! Truly a must have 🙌🏽🥳😍

I couldn't help myself and bought this when it was released! LOL I'm a cool-leaning neutral and I do find the neutral shade I have to be a bit yellow, but it's workable. I will buy fair cool when I need to repurchase (and I will be repurchasing!). This is my go-to, everyday foundation now and I'm thrilled. I really liked how the Elf foundation in the glass bottle looked on my skin, but the fragrance gave me a headache everytime I used it. edit: I have normal-oily skin and with primer, powder, and setting spray, this is great!

It's good, right? I'm impressed so far. I tried it out today for the first time and 8 hours later, it really held up! Wind, sun, heat, cold.... it's been a crazy day. Can't wait to use it more! $9 at Walmart, 1 fluid oz. Impressed.

It's so funny that you posted this today. I bought this yesterday and tried it today. I LOVE it so far. You and I are usually a shade match and my store didnt have our shade. I got the light cool and could make it work but will likely buy the lighter cool shade also. I did use the one size setting spray since I spent several hours in the 90+ heat today. I also took a nap and am currently 9+ hours into this and would still wear it out as is. It is very likely a new favorite. I love the natural stain finish. You were spot on by saying it you skin but better. The $8 price point is also incredible because it feels and wears like a high end product. Also, for reference, I have very dry fair skin.

I have just got it from Amazon. I am 68 yo and am surprised how natural it looks on my skin. No clogged pores, just looking moist an natural. I chose Medium Neutral. So pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend.

I love it! I've ordered 3 colors and will wear all 3 at some point this year. Right now, I'm pretty tan, so I needed to buy a 3rd color for my tan skin. It's okay because it's only $8. Even spending $24 on 3 different colors that I will use, it's still half the price of my favorite foundation, Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless.

I've tried it and I'm a combination oily and normal. It looks really good on me but I have to touch up quite a bit from the oil coming thru. I do use a mattifying primer with it and helps a little. Lasts pretty good with a finishing spray.

Normal skin here, tried it and loved it! But Loreal Freshwear is my go to! I have the shade light neutral in the Elf foundation and it's a bit yellow for me, thinking I will get a fair shade as well for mixing in..kinda limited shade choices.. but great!

She's my foundation shade match, too, @LexiGoLightly. There are two Fair Cool and Fair Neutral shades, so I'm not sure which one she used. I picked up 13 Fair Neutral a few weeks ago but haven't tried it yet. For $8 I would buy a second and maybe even mix for a perfect shade match.

I had the same experience with this where at first glance I thought oh no, it's too light, but once applied the color was perfect (12 Fair Warm on me). I have to be careful not to use too much since I'm dry--a little goes a long way with this unless you're a "high coverage" fan. And I appreciate the "no feel" aspect of this; you don't feel it on the skin, which is really important for folks like me with rosacea who get that "smothery" feel really easily.

I haven't tried it, but I've seen a couple of wear tests on oily skinned influencers, and it didn't hold up great. I work 12-hour shifts, so my makeup has to last about 15 hours. Also, since I'm oily/combo, and I prefer a more full coverage foundation, I chose to pass. Thank you so much for your review and wear test. I was happy to see one from a drier skinned influencer whom I trust so highly. 🥰

I THINK we're shade twins. I have a bit more mature skin than U (almost 41.) My skin type is practically PARCHED then a few hrs after application I turn GREASY!!! I have done that way w/most cream/liquid foundations the past couple yrs 4 some reason. I recently decluttered it because it was empty & now I'm using the WNW BareFocus Tinted Hydr8or again.

Can you give the number you used? The Elf website lists two options for fair neutral and fair cool.
