I really enjoy watching your videos. Great use of range finder to stay proper distance from dam. I like how you gave recognition to Jeff little. Really enjoy the videos that you both are involved in. Also like the recognition of Jason broach and others who willing gave you the area. It was neat to see nolan minor and the other guy also work together at same tourney in sharing water and not interfering with each other

Great idea with the rangefinder! And damn, what a nice walleye on top haha

Yeah I thought I had a giant smallmouth. I also caught a Striper on day one with a Plopper 130 that was a weird surprise. The rangefinder on board was solely for my piece of mind so if I got polygraphed, I'd know for sure I didn't violate any laws.

Awesome video, that "big fish" was a walleye! That's the one we seen you catch. Great tourney. 👍👊

Congrats again! I knew you finished third but I didn't know about the equipment issue with the kayak cutting your day short. That stinks a bit but you did your part!

Thanks! I tried not to let define my day because I still had a lot of success and achieved my goal of making it back to the TOC

So a couple of questions. Based on your experience with that particular inflatable. I’ve seen several videos with you and a lynx. For the area you were fishing with what appeared to be decent depth for the drive would you go lynx or inflatable again? Or another model? I also have to say I did pick up on your anchoring. What setup was that?

I'm laying down for bed but once I wake up I will give you a full thought out response

I'm sorry I'm a little late on when I promised I'd reply. Here's my take on both boats. I'd not want either in the exact same scenario. The iTrek is not made for fishermen. That boat has half the thickness of most inflatables made for angling. It's way too fragile of a platform for me to trust. I also would not want the Lynx. The Lynx would have been very banged up from rocks as well as it would have been too loud from the current and rubbing on rocks and etc. Neither the Lynx or iTrek are ideal platforms for shallow rocky rivers.

the anchor set up is a yak attack anchor line management system with a yak attack anchor line cleat

@@JakeHarshman I appreciate your reply. I guess that leads to the next question. What would you want kayak wise? I have a PA14/360 and I Lynx. I hope to fish the BOS there next year.

@@Matthoodadventures that's a water level dependent question. I think the best all around kayak for this river is the Outback with kick up fins. Super shallow water, an inflatable drafts the least but there's not an inflatable I'd recommend that has a pedal drive system. The best inflatable though is soon to be released, the Osprey from Innovative Sportsman. Based on what you own though, I'd go with the Pro Angler platform over the Lynx.
