Hi Biata! Wow wow wow! That feature wall has come out better than I could imagine! I'm so glad you kept to your plans and stained it black, it really matches the rest of the roof etc. Leaving it without stain would have been too many colours and look too 'busy'. Nice how the northern lights gave a blessing to your feature wall there. 😀 I know this part of the build has been an emotional roller coaster for you. When you move on to tasks that are more mundane and that you aren't so super-invested in, I think you'll find yourself on more of an even keel emotionally.

It looks great, like you're ready to leave the house for a night out, with a modern and chic vibe. However, there are two minor points you should be aware of: Squeaking and creaking wood. As wood contracts and expands at different temperatures, you will likely hear these noises more frequently if you don't take them into account during the finishing process. For example, by not placing the wood tightly together, it's advisable to leave some space between the pieces to allow for movement. Dark colors, especially black, retain heat. Particularly in summer, these will absorb the warm rays of the sun, potentially reaching dangerously high temperatures. You are still in the process and have potential. Continue to strive, tnx for sharing, keep punching.

That turned out really good A little tip when smoothing out your calk when using your finger and and towel (paper towel) dampin the towel for a smooth finish, works great. Again very nice job

Biate,if you have laid silicone then you have to spray soapy water (water with dish soap) on it and then you can go over it with your finger or spatula.
