My indoor cats do this when I start projects too and it drives me nuts. When I'm sewing, they do nose dives into my fabric, paper pattern pieces, and want to lie in my lap when I'm sitting at my machine. If I'm organizing closets or cabinets, they want to sniff and play with EVERYTHING! If I were Matt, I'd have to build a little enclosure to corral them into when I'm working. Seriously. These little micromanagers gotta get outta my way. LOL

As an English speaker who learned Chinese late in life, your Spanish sounded great. Immersion or at least daily practice is essential for adults. You spoke without pause and with confidence and that goes a long way to engage a native language listener. because as you often say, You don't have to be perfect!' Well done

Point of information. I was born raised and live in the Virgin Islands. Considering installing an adjustable mechanism. The sun shifts position and goes a little to the north a few months out of the year. An adjustable mechanism will allow you to change the position of your panels to get the most from the sun when it changes direction. All the best. ❤

My first "deployment" was East Africa and the dude that picked me up and installed me in a temporary had the AC on full speed in both the car and the house. Ofc I got sick and even developed a nasty lung inflammation. So the next 15-20 yrs when I lived and worked in the Amazon, Central America and the Caribbean I never had an AC installed in my houses. Every time I'd been away and came back to the heath and humidity it was a struggle, but after 1-2 weeks the sweat and suffering didn't bother me anymore. It's just a question of adaptation, will and intent to live "locally".

Matt, thanks for taking us on the trip to the lumber yard. When you guys were sailing we appreciated seeing the various different locations, the variety of stops, the people, the bars, stores, etc. Now that you live in Puerto Rico it would be interesting to see some of the land, towns, people and culture. For instance, hearing about your language journey was interesting. What about grocery shopping, your interactions with other people, outside recreational activities, food and the like. Liking the videos, but also becoming more interested in Porto Rico as well. Also, Kristen I have to say your videos are great and you have recently improved a bit on the music.
