Ironically, Nicks video series last year where he completed one special research every day in December until christmas is what got me to become a special research completionist. This end of year community day sucks if you live in some places, there you are just wandering about without a coat. Meanwhile here in the UK was very wet and cold because there was sleet, snow and rain plus freezing winds yesterday and today we did not play outside at ALL except for walking for a short distance to spin stops.

@ well done do you want a medal? 🤣That is your choice! To be clear we have played since almost the first day mostly played in Europe and Asia. We live in rural Belgium and believe me we understand grinding in cold and wet when you stand freezing and the pokemon you want there are not enough local players to defeat the gym it is maddening. We had to walk miles to spin a few local stops looking for Rocket leaders before balloons came in game. Cold we can do but when you can not see the screen with wet whole other deal Belgium is wet so was were we are this weekend.. We also lived in Japan a few years and the humidity and heat in summer make play unbearable outside, Typhoons season it was unsafe to play outside in the wind snd rain. That said we really do not like how the game is evolving these days into a pay to play format. On Saturday we were driving and yesterday we were like nah why go out nothing exciting to catch.

Dual Destiny doesn't even really count because it's time gated. So nobody can complete that one yet. So you've really only got 1 to finish!

I used yesterday and today to finish my Litten special research. And no such luck! I`m still missing some...! I was running from place to place. But they were always gone when I got there. It was really annoying..!! Btw., I think it`s insane that they did it so close to Christmas. I wasted those hours, and now I`m stressed about all I have to do to finish in time. Why don't to take a break for December community day if players are busy with hunting shinies community on past 11 community days in the same year. I think Niantic also trying to give us a rest in silence. I always hope to change the pattern of December community day by introducing a term Pokemon because it still have many Pokemon eligible to become community day term Pokemon but it never be happen forever.
