Like how Palpatines jump at the Jedi worked because he was more aggressive and dedicated to dark side. While Anakins didn't because he was still trying to be defensive and just wanted to end the fight out of frustration and lack of focus. May I mention the absolute logical dumpster fire that just is the rise of skywalker, some of the biggest points of contention in that movie was how much they literally pulled out of their asses for the soul reason of "the rule of cool" and push it way too far. There are a few too many for me to mention without writing a whole essay length comment but some of those points are around Exegol and everything to do with it. Point #1, How did Palpatine acquire the resources to build the sith fleet and how were all of the destroyers fully manned. Point #2, If Palpatine really wanted to reclaim the galaxy for himself, why did he wait for kylo to find him of Exegol instead of just sending out the fleet and reclaiming the galaxy that way. Point #3, How is there an intact wreckage of death star 2 despite the fact that the thing exploded, even if there was any sort of debris from the explosion there wouldn't have been much more than some small scorched pieces of the thing on Endor and not kef bir, and there certainly wouldn't have been anything that could be salvaged from it beyond just small pieces of it. There are far far more points of contention that could be listed but I'm sure you can find those in other people's videos on the movie.
