Today we're doing a new 10 hour farm video, and this time it's all about fishing, for this we're gonna be trying not one but three different spots and find out, first, which one is the best, and second, whether fishing is actually worth while for gold making, we're gonna try Nagrand for it's Icefin Bluefish, Terokkar Forest for it's Golden Darter and Skettis for it's Furious Crawdad, 3 and half hours each, so let's get into it !

Did not mention the pools of Pure Water and the most pools overall in Nagrand. The pools of pure water contain motes of water, used to create primal water. These sell between 10-20g depending on the server. This makes Nagrand the best area for gold/hr without contest.

You speak English really well :) But as a non-native speaker myself, I've occasionally mispronounced words without realizing.. So here it is: "Gill" is what fish have as a respiratory organ and the "g" is pronounced like the "g" in "girl"

I think you should do this again, but change how you're farming from open waters, to schools of fish. I suggest this: 1. Nagrand - Don't skip any Mudfish, Bluefin, or Pure Water pool. You're going to eliminate the Barbed Gill Trout, and get a lot more scrolls, Motes of Water, and other high gold earning items. 2. Terrokar - Again, fish from Schools of Fish only, but fly up to Skettis and check out all three of the highland lakes. This again eliminates trash fish, and increases your high gold earning drops.

Only going for pools is the wave. I never stand in one spot feel like its a waste of time. It requires a bit more effort but the gold is astronomically higher. If I find the layers too active or pools arent spawning, I just go and unload what I fished and come back.

In nagrand you can also find Huge fell tail which cooks one piece into 6 Fisherman's Feast which is 30 stam food. I use this a lot and the fact that you get 6 for a pop is amazing

I leveled fishing from 300 to 325 in Zangar around Umbrafen Lake and The Lagoon, and I felt like the scroll cases and crates (with engineering mats inside) I got from the flotsam was pretty profitable. I haven't really done any exact calculations but it might be worth checking out and seeing how it holds up to these methods. Way less competition in Zangar as well.

You say you can stand in one place in Nagrand, but Nagrand is also significantly more lucrative if you look for pools. Pools have a higher drop rate on scroll cases + Nagrand has pools that give Motes of Water I’d like to see the data for Nagrand fishing targeting Bluefin Schools + Water pools

You can cook the barbed gill trout into blackened trout, which vendors for more than one silver each. So don't just vendor the fish.

My buddies and I (total of 4 people) took fishing to make money to its maximum, mainly using Deviate Fish, Deviate Delights, and Oily Blackmouths from the Barrens. We typically sat in discord watching KZbin or Netflix together when fishing for literal hours, all when only in the early 20s whenever one person or another wasn’t able to get the on. Between the 4 of us we had made about 10,000 gold through fishing and eventually buying out all the competition before any of us had the level 60 mount. Never needing to worry about training costs, mount costs, even occasional BoEs that were much more expensive than they should have been was fantastic.

Best fishing farm is icefin pools in Nagrand by a large margin. You can obtain motes of water that are considerably more valuable than any fish. Fishing in Nagrand's open waters for me is a waste of time.

I made 545 gold from 3½ hours fishing in Terokkar on the Golden Darters and Crawdads plsu the vendor trash. Primal water sells for 10-12g on my server, I seriously doubt you can fish up 50 primals in 3½ hour!

Longer post, sorry. I had been just testing fishing myself. These were some of my preliminary results/observations. I feel like something overlooked is the likelihood of competition in any farming spot. Primal farming often yields more if uncontested, but that is rarely the case in my experience. Fishing, by contrast, often feels relatively open. Farming fish without cooking them often feels like a mistake. I was curious why you didn't opt to hunt Highland, Darter, and Brackish Pools all at the same time in Terokkar if epic flying was available. Another approach I had found solid success with was clearing pools in Nagrand (ToE, Skysong Lake, rivers south of Garadar, skip to Sunspring post), then returning to SKysong to free fish until respawns. Another guild member doing testing was mentioning that if the scroll economy is thriving on your server, having free farming in Zangarmarsh trash pools can yield inconsistent but lucrative results. It is definitely more of a gamble than the other two given the scarcity of salable fish in Zangarmarsh.

If you fish the pools in terrokar forest, you'll get the fish tracing by the time you're 375 fishing. I've done it twice and my sister has done it 3 times, as well.

I like your video but I think this fishing one is missing a Lil information now with phase 2 dropping . You completely forgot to mention skull fish soup 🍲(found in Deadwind pass) ! When it currently dropped I was selling them anywhere from 4 to 2 gold per fish. Don’t vendor the Barb grill trout, use it to make stewed trout. Which restore 7500 health.(don’t get confused the same fish is also used to create blackened trout, but only restores 4320 Health) and honestly it works out great I don’t have to be running after a mage all the time asking him to trade me some food. It actually flies off the shelves in the guild banks.

I find doing Zangramarsh is so much better for gold making. there's a lot of floating pump debris pools where you can get curious crates. i've gotten both fel iron ore and handfuls of fel iron bolts from these. i easily sell a stack of the bolts for 40g each.

More. Golden Darters go for around 18-20 gold/stack, cooked fish sticks sell for 38-40 gold per stack. I regularly buy up all the darters on ah, cook them and make almost a 100% profit :D

Or you can just lvl mage alt and aoe basilisks 60-66 lvls. Sell blackened basilisk 80g stack and you get around 300-400g per hour while leveling an alt. Also 5000g costs around 23€. Thats around 30mins of working overtime.

As someone who fishes to make gold this video annoys me, you aren't doing everything you can to make gold from fishing. You did even touch Zangermash the place with the most schools of fish and the only place where Flotsam Wreakage spawn. You also didn't mention the Pure Water pools that spawns in Nagrand and not cooking the fish is strange to me, people would much rather buy the cooked food over the uncooked variant save for the buffless fish. There are also Huge Spotted Feltail which makes Fishermens Feast something you can get from pools The best way (imo) to make gold with fishing is make a circuit towards Skettis, Starting from Shattrath and heading towards Stonebreaker Hold seeing if there's any of those pools are up. After you've fished them or if there just weren't any make your way to Allerian Stronghold for the 4 pools there, then finally make your way into Skettis and fish those pools. After you've fished the Highland Mixed Schools there go along the western side of Terokkar following the water looking for pools, then once you've gone all the way up to where they no longer spawn make your way through the middle river and follow into the little bit in the east. Now that's Terokkar done, as a Mage i just teleport back to Shattrath and make my way to Zangermarsh and continue fishing there, getting both Sporefish and Brackfish Mixed Pools. Why Sporefish you ask? Well even though Sporefish might not sell as much as other fish (i do manage to sell the fish though might be by people leveling cooking) you can still get Supply/Curious crates and scroll cases from those pools and even Motes of Water. This is the best way you make gold with fishing. You can fit Nagrand into it but if you plan on doing multiple laps I think it's a bad choice. I'd suggest getting Fishing Buddy, Routes and Farmhud do make finding pools easier.

I dont know what you exspected :X fishing is the Most botted Profession. The nagrand fishes all have alternatives you get from farmin leather. Golden darter is the only fish that has no Alternative. But it also farmed from a Spot where you dont pull mobs while standing on a Spot. If in my 14 years of tbc private Servers ive Seen fishing botters alot. And they are Camping terrokar forest. Your Video just sadly just proved that theres no way a human would spend time fishing when He can just Grab a mate an Farm SL normal First room for aldor Reputation stuff (or just does other stuff that makes Gold). On a Server where bots do the farming, you will have humans do the boosting ( thats the only thing bots cant Do). Btw, when bosses are too easy => Tanks use dps consumeables.

@@luketappenden7866 They can do more, but they dont. Ive played on severals servers so far and since 2010 servers were using anticheat ( preventing fly, & speedhack). Some servers were using auto bann systems that automaticly bann people after ~ 5 violations in 15 mins. Ive seen servers where the anticheat doesnt prevent the cheating but sends a message informing a gm e.g. when a character is finishing for >1h without moving. Ive also seen servers that have a system to follow gold transfers. That server/realm in particular had >10000 individual players and people got banned for gold buying/selling, botting & other stuff on a daily basis and the banns were for all accounts on the IP adress and not just for the 1 account violating it. If you reported sth on that realm ( it was 2 devs & 2 Gamemasters) via tickets you got an answer within 10 mins on EU times & within 12h if you were doing it while the GMs sleep. Just imagine: 1 GM per 5000 players was enough to give good ingame support and bann reported botters & gold sellers within 6h ( they actually followed the characters). Thats basicly 1 GM per 7500$ of subscription money. The gms on private servers were doing it for free btw, because they were allowed to be logged in on the GM account while playing to check if sth is going on.
