Nice idea on the very modular design

Thanks. Modular means it does most things pretty well, but nothing perfectly, but thata the tradeoff I suppose.

I have been looking to make something like this. At first, I wasn't so sure about it. But after watching the video, this is exactly what I need to build. I liked Peech's idea of a modular station, but I too have a miter saw and table saw that need to fit this. This will be my next build.

@chrish9506 I'm happy to share more specifics if you have questions. The outfeed table honestly could be wider if you have room for it. The 18 inches just barely fits the legs of the saw.

Saw the Matthew Peech video a while ago and since I'm moving to an new and bigger workshop, wanted to make one of these, of course adjusted to my situation. Great work and a nice inspiration!

I've been really happy with it so far. Getting the tables to be level is definitely the hardest part, especially in a garage where the floor height changes. But it hasn't caused me any issues yet.

This garage I'm moving into seems to have level floors, together with thick PVC floortiles. Best part, I don't have to share it, apart from some gardening tools. Still need to wait a while, at the moment remodeling the house, got to be ready for the end of january, after that, I can focus on the workshop

@rizzidepizzi one day I'll build a shed to get the other half of the garage organized. Good luck with the remodeling, hopefully it's the fun kind.

Thanks for watching. I think I'm going to keep on the theme of organizing with a French cleat system to get more of my tools out of drawers. I'm drawing up some different types of mounts to fit my needs. After that, I've been planning on building something that's not shop furniture. I've got some wood set aside for a mini coffee bar.
@Dancing_Alone_wRentals
@Dancing_Alone_wRentals 2 күн бұрын
@@SuburbanSanctuary that coffee bar sounds pretty cool. Right away I think of variations....Outside for evening BBQs, ...Ever scene one of those neighborhoods where people make lawn parties out of Halloween or Forth of July ? What a cool idea you have. That will be fun to see what you come up with. ( I've been organizing since ....geez, When Columbus tried to take credit for finding the New World. This past year everything ended up getting messier. But...I'm not giving up...)

Oh my goodness! I can't believe that you use all of those super expensive tools. Don't you know that most of use can't afford $1000 dollars worth of tools. I mean, who can afford all of those Ryobi and Milwaukee tools. Not to mention that Kobalt sliding miter saw. LoL! I wanted you to feel like one of the big channels. Great video. I think all of us suffer from these shop problems. I too watched the Matthew Peech video. Thanks for the tip on Harbor Freight wheels. I haven't had that problem before, but it makes me want to definitely double check them the next time I purchase some. I have a few tool stations that I need to build that will need locking wheels. Like I said, great video and great information. God bless and you have a new subscriber.

@woodandwheelz "First, I cut everything down to size on my Festool Kapex, then I bring it over to my CNC machine to cut to the final shape while my 3D printer finishes up these custom brackets on this DIY project" The wheel thing drove me nuts, and i didn't catch it until the very end after the 3rd round of adjusting the tops when they wouldn't meet up at the same height.
