I neglected my wife's 2005 Cadillac Escalade for so long she just wanted a new truck. The problem is new trucks are expensive so I spent 1 day fixing everything on her old truck to avoid spending a lot of money or taking on a car loan. If you own any GM truck this video will show you tips and tricks to make specific repairs cost you next to nothing. The Suburbans, Tahoes, Silverado, Sierra, Yukon, and Escalade all apply and this video includes fixing an airbag light, repairing a leaking exhaust manifold gasket leak, replacing the seat leather, replacing the brakes, replacing the shocks, replacing the pitman arm, installing new wheels and tires and resetting the tire pressure light and more!
If you need high-quality synthetic engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, filters, and more visit my Amsoil Website. By signing up as one of my preferred customers you can save about 25%. legitoil.myamsoil.com/

My Escalade is now running at 9 miles per 😢 I'm hoping that replacing the mass airflow sensor can fix this. And I'm worried about the transmission even though it has no problems at the moment. It's up to 138,000 miles on a 2006 EXT. So I'm goin to try that RVS stuff you used.

Most don't understand that you can't just wipe them off with a headlight solution. These lens go through so much while driving. Through many year of use they get sand blasted from the road debris and stones and dirt from vehicles in front of you. You can't treat that with a wipe on and off chemical! Elbow grease and wet sanding is a must!

For those frozen caliper bolts, you may want to try to drive it for about 10-15 miles to get them nice and warm and then try to see if they will break loose while they are still hot. It may help, since everything will be around the same temp, instead of a torch just heating one area. You can always let it cool on your lift if they break loose then change the brake pads and rotors.

I just realized that myself because with a car that you really care about you will get frustrated with all of the little things and it drives you crazy. I'm starting to wonder about that. I maintain several GM vehicles and the prices I find on Amazon are way cheaper than any place else. I'm starting to think that most sellers on Amazon are selling counterfeit merchandise as I've had brand name parts fail in short order or appear out of the box as cheap as the Chinese junk, only at a higher price. I researched a little bit and it seems that is not an uncommon suspicion for name brand purchasers. Anymore it seems I have better success with steering and suspension parts from Autozone, Advance Auto, or Napa than I do parts from Amazon that come in OEM boxes.
