Ever since the first day of having my Makita tools, this have driven me nuts! I really don't understand why there isn't a fix for my number one issue with my Makita tools, so I figured it out myself! It's easy to wall mount a makita charger with these simple steps! In this video, I will show you how to attach a Makita charger directly to the wall without ruining it. This method of wall mounting a Makita charger to the wall works perfectly and it won't take more than a few minutes of your time!

Old school tip: lipstick the feet and stick it down on your plywood, boom there's your template. You can then drill from the back into the feet of the charger and then screw the wood straight to whatever surface

How did I not think of this? I have some makita and Bosch tools, and both don’t have mounting points on the chargers… this is a great little tip that sure works better than double sided tape!

Quick tip! Put a screw or a piece of wood above that Milwaukee charger if you use the M18 slot. Then battery swap is 1 handed bc it can’t slide up off the mounting screws. And if you already did then ignore me haha

I just used the stealth mounts they make for them they already have key wholes in them and there only $20 a pack I wasn’t shore how well the rubber feet would hold do they seem to hold alright

The blue tape was a good idea, but I am curious why you just didn't use the rubber feet with the screw in them to mark the location. @3:32 you could have just re-inserted the rubber feet back into the charger and pressed that to the board, leaving a mark.

@@SpencleyDesignCo I think maybe you may have misunderstood my original comment. Let me break down the steps for clarification. Step 1 Remove rubber feet from charger Step 2 Drive the screws through the rubber feet Step 3 Re-insert rubber feet back into charge, with the tip of the screw sticking out Step 4 Press charger against mounting board, leaving indentation from the screws Step 5 Remove rubber feet from charger again with pliers Step 6 Screw rubber feet to the mounting board Step 7 Mount charger No need for blue tape template or pencil or even the drill bit. Use the charger itself as the template...Hope this all makes sense.

Sure, you could do that too. You’d just have to ensure that the screws were perfectly straight which might be difficult

@@SpencleyDesignCo I don't think they would have to be absolutely straight, as the feet are made from rubber. And with the screws being short, it would not be that difficult to keep them straight. Even with your template someone could screw in the screws a little out of square, but even then I they would get the charger onto the feet. Also, with putting the screws in the rubber feet and then placing them back into the charger, one would nail the exact center for each screw.
