I was standing at turn 9 for the race, with my Dad. I think I was putting my camera away into my bag, and then he said to me 'Smoke out of Verstappen's car', and I was like 'no way'. The crowd we're just trying to figure out what was going on, but as Verstappen drove lap 4, the smoke got heavier and it became more clear what was going on. Everyone just started making noise of oohs and then they ROARED when they could clearly see smoke from Max's car on the big screens. Eventually the field came past us again and we all saw and smelt the smoke billowing from his rear brakes, and then after turn 10, Verstappen SLOWED, and I think that was where the crowed reached it's peak of excitement, finding out that it wasn't Verstappen winning the race!
