So i googled for a bit. Never found anything about SCAT airlines being the most dangerous in the world (in fact, they had only 2 incident since 1997, one of which had no fatalities). Also, as far as google told me, they are NOT banned in the EU. They are a full member of IATA and are allowed to fly in & through the EU since 2018. So yeah... maybe not that dangerous & not that banned after all.

It is in a couple of lists on random lists, like “Top 10 most dangerous airlines in the world” but yet I can’t find the article that says it’s banned

Also I don’t think it’s something about the airline but the airplanes they use, for example the Boeing 737 MAX which seems to be an unsafe airplane.

Pd: I’m not an expert, I’m just curious of what could lead to the conclusion that it was the most dangerous airline, it must be something.

@@adrianbonnet.674 They were banned until 2018, along with many (if not all) Kazakh airlines. I coudn't find initial reasoning, but probably Kazakh aviation regulations were not up to par with IATA regs, that's why EU banned them. That is my guess.

Actually SCAT airlines is probably one of the safest Airlines in the World. They have a much newer Fleet of Aircraft on average than most carriers

The World's Most Dangerous Airline?????????????? In 2018, European airspace restrictions were lifted for SCAT Airlines[citation needed] and in May 2018, Vilnius became their first scheduled EU destination. In March 2018, SCAT Airlines was accepted as a full member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). SCAT Airlines became the second Kazakhstan airline included in the IATA register.

How do you compare SCAT Kazakhstan airline to what you have in Italy ITA Airways Skyteam Alliance. The problem with ITA Airways Skyteam Alliance it's that when you are traveling in the United States you cannot access DL Skyclubs but across the Southern Border in Mexico AM allows you to access their lounge on your ITA Airways Skyteam Elite Plus status domestic Mexico.

The German passenger just books a seat on an airline and does no research and doesn’t care. There is me making sure I never travel on anything apart from a Boeing and Airbus etc..
