bandung is heaven for food, start from fried one or soup one, i personally love soup, the traditional soup always named with suffix "sayur" which mean veggie stuff, and yes, there is only vegetable and no chemical or meat, all vegetable chalorie. Recomended sundanese: - sayur asem - sayur lodeh (the one you eat) - sayur kacang merah - sayur kangkung wortel - sayur bayam jagung - and many other sayur there also complete package like nasi timbel. i see your preference of food same like me, try all, there is thousand food in bandung, visit "warteg" if you want many varian of food

i think what the guy said about empal goreng in Bandung is called "gepuk". The one which is quite famous is Gepuk nyonya ong.

if i can recommend, you can try wedang ronde jahe, quite a warm dessert with a glutinous rice balls filled with peanut and sugar, mixed with ginger broth,. You can try colenak too, it's made from cassava. At night you can try to go to sudirman street food too, there are plenty of great food there too.

Having lived in bandung for few years. As long as i can remember, i never tasted any bad food in Bandung..the weather and the greeneries also nice too.. 😊 Bandung is a must visit if you love food, good weather and nature 😊

As you know Tofu and tempe is basic food for eat in indonesia, because tofu n tempe is best Protein Nabati, very cheap n good for healthy.. Just suggest for u all If u want eat kind of soup like Bakso, mie ayam,soto,tongseng, or gado2, ketoprak..the first rule u mmust mix/stirred to get best taste, Something we r laughing/funny to look stranger eat indonesian food they dont know how must do it first😂 Mantabb Tetap semangatt😁☕

Go to Bandung u must try Sundanese Cuisine (West Java) like; Lotek, Nasi Tutug Oncom, Pepes Gurame (grill fish 🐟 with banana leaf) Pepes Oncom, Karedok, etc, hope u enjoy the meals bro

The mystery food is called Kupat Tahu. It's one of my all-time favorite Indonesian dishes. The peanut sauce is insanely delicious. I reckon it should be on the list of top 10 Indonesian foods. Also, tofu from Bandung is incredibly tasty. I have friends from different provinces, and they all love it. They think maybe the mountain water in Bandung has something to do with the amazing flavor.

Leunca (the one that you called peas) usually cooked with oncom or Tempe, not tahu. I can't see your food clearly, but from I see, I think it's oncom, not tahu (tofu).

🤭🤭🤭🤭 the soupy one called SAYUR ASAM (sour = ASAM veggies = SAYUR), the fish is shredded tuna i think, another dish we called it ONCOM LEUNCA = fermented soya pulp (oncom) and leunca = nightshade berries and NOT peas 😂😂😂😂. Good that U have tried many tradisional sundanese dish ❤❤🎉
