Haven't watched the full video yet but I have played the game and can say that it didn't really true. Nearly all story bits for him is either about books or how the lazarus pıt affected him. The only character to actually have a good story and only character to actually went through a growth in the game.

@@DragonKnight7166 because Batman's character inspires respect. The penguin, two-face, Bane, Ra's al ghul even the joker would never piss on Batman's dead body. It's also depends on the character if Batman graped the villians wife and killed his family it would make sense for the villian to hate him enough to defile him. But Batman doesn't do that. And if you knew even an ounce of anything about Ra's al ghul(or even if you saw the cutscene) you'd know Ra's respects Batman. So much so that even after knowing his secret identity he doesn't reveal it out of respect for him. He declares Batman as his heir even.

@@johnoneil9188 that wasn't a stealth attack, it was an aerial attack, which is just meant to be a quick damage dealer to start a fight. You can do a proper stealth attack that instantly takes down enemies if you: 1 - Sneak up behind them. 2 - Are in an elevated platform that still leaves you close to the target (if you're far you're just going to perform an aerial attack). 3 - If you fly above you target using a traversal ability

Just finished a Red Hood playthrough of Gotham Knights and after going in with tempered expectations, I genuinely enjoyed it. Far from a perfect game, but it had some fun moments and I'm looking forward to a replay as Batgirl so I can get a fresh set of cutscenes and the story from a different perspective. (Certainly helps I got the deluxe edition on sale for $30 CAD).

Cool, I beat the story with Nightwing, then Robin, NOW I just started a new game plus and plan to play through with Batgirl! I have logged over 300 hrs of Co-Op play with my brother. Honestly, Co-op is so fun, I only play Gotham Knights when I have a co-op player with me! It is hours of fun in Co-op and in both Heroic Assaults.

Do the cutscenes actually change based on who you’re playing. As far as I can tell the little quips when investigating stuff is the only real difference. Why play the game 4 times to play each character when you can do all of their personal stories in one playthough, even if you main one person the whole game and then do the other three as clean up. I’m having fun with the game, but from what I can tell it’s not nearly as replayable as other games.

I actually enjoyed the game. Yeah Jason kind of "shoot them up" doesn't really stick well but gotta remember this was shortly after his resurrection so still has some anger to deal with but slowly reopens up, which was nice. Grayson is lacking his "motherly touch". Barbara is dealing with her own grief and slowly works through it. Tim doubts himself a lot while he works on his grief with Batmans death and proves to himself that he can still be Red Robin. Yeah some.plot elements don't make sense, but that's true even in the comics. Overall to me it's a 8/10 game with a bunch of replay ability. :)

The sucide sqauds gameplay isnt bad at all, the mission variety however is lacking. But the combat and traversal is fun to play around with. Its better than what people say, but as someone who enjoys it ill admit its not there yet, its saving grace is the free seasons and playable toons. Hopefully they come with mission variety, if they dont i would not recomend the game to someone. Also the battlepass and full extent of the store hasnt been seen yet, again as someone who was ripped off by the classic skins for the deluxe edition ill admit prolly gunna be greedy.

tbf im currently playing it and im only playing the stages combat part of hte game, i got a key for less than 6 bucks so for that price is kinda good

I really hate these hyper-realistic faces they've been going for. Batman from the Arkham games looks 10 times better than any interpretation since then.

Yeah, I tried replaying this game a couple of months ago on New game plus just to see if there was anything about it that holds up, and there is very, very little that does. I’m a die hard Batman fan since I was in diapers and this was my most anticipated game over God of War and Spider-Man 2. I paid the $75ish dollars and the $25 deluxe upgrade for literally 2 skins per character some dumb shaders and an alternate Batcycle skin only to be disappointed, insulted, and Robbed. I was enjoying the game up till the 75% mark of the story and I was getting bored with the gameplay loop at the halfway point. I got excited at the second to last mission because it felt like the game was opening up for more story and side villians and I was excited to see who and what they utilized for the rest of the story. Only to be slapped with the final mission and the realization that there was absolutely no more content than what they showed in the trailers. I literally felt like I was halfway through the game at the end of the game. No more side villians, no new missions, or gameplay mechanics, not even any new costumes. The infuriating thing is that in better hands this game might have had so much potential and it was wasted.
