It's so interesting how differently peoples bodies react. The first time I came off sertraline I stupidly just went cold turkey without my doctors knowing. Omg it was such a big mistake, I had a constant extremely painful headache that lasted around 2 months. Now I'm on a higher dose if I forget to take it one day I'll have a headache for a few days after that.

Some people don't cope that well without them and go back on.

i stocked a few boxes i stopped, i now just recreational take Pregabalin with breaks so i don't get a huge long withdrawal. taking Medication regularly makes you dependant its a vicious circle.

I have started and forgotten sertraline numerous times over the last 2 years. I usually only realize it once the withdrawals hit. Problem is, the withdrawals feel good (dizzy. euphoric. disconnected.), and there's no incentive to get up and go take the medicine, so I usually continue to remember and forget for another week or two before starting again. When I'm taking consistently, I have trouble remembering IF i've taken the medicine on any particular day.
