Just found your channel, the camera work is exceptional, bravo! I'm halfway done doing a cycle of all the regions of Italy, I've completed the 10 most northern regions and am heading back in March 2025 to cycle rest down south (split due to the 90-day limit sadly), and your content is giving me great inspiration!

I follow about 40 Italian property channels right now. Just Dream Italy and another very different one (2 really endearing ladies mostly showing very down-to-earth type properties) are my favorites. The production values (writing, audio choices, video quality, framing, etc) on yours is consistently impressive. It'll be even more so if it turns out to be just a one person effort.

Heritage pork is on a different level to any other white meat. In the 1980,s pork producers brought in the scientific community to do something about the high fat content in pork which they did but eliminated all pork’s unique flavor profiles in the process. Now that pork products are basically controlled by 2 or 3 multinational corporations, it’s difficult to find heritage meat even in Los Angeles. I found some ribs from France at my local Wildfork in marina del Rey and we made them last night . The results were fantastic.

enjoyed your video, while there are many eye-catching news saying Italia has 1 euro houses, especially in those smaller, poor, and population losing cities especially in Southern Italy, is it true? while, many of those require some substantial remodel to be livable, have you personally researched any of those? so it may not be costing exact 1 euro, but some may be 1k or 10k euro? do you find any worth to have a look?

How sad that veal is a popular dish in that area. The poor little sweet calves are forced to exist in such a tight confined space (a stall or crate) their entire lives, where they literally are not given enough room to even turn around. This of course leads to very sad, frustrated calves that are sickly. Most people aren't aware of the cruel treatment the calves are forced to endure because it all goes on behind the scenes where most people don't see.

The food in Puglia is awful, no quality dishes, very boring and tastless. I know I live in Puglia. They only eat pig, pork , not quality meat as north or central Italy, they can't cook fish. the typical dessert is pasticiotto custard cream , the wine is neither great...
@danielaluisiburns999318 күн бұрын
As an Italian born and raised in Bologna from apulian parents I think your comment is a little harsh. The wines from Puglia have been, for the longest time, been purchased from the largest producers of Tuscany to be cut/ mixed their famous Tuscan wines. As far as the meat, it's a different way of processing it. Fish, they know what they are doing. Then again, if we are creating the same old division North/South, the county as a whole has a vast variety of cuisine. Hard not to be appreciated.
